Yeah people shitting on this game is just sad. They clearly never played the First game, this one is leaps and bounds better. Also its funny to see everyone shit on souls likes, of course its not going to be on par with Fromsoft. They are the ones that created the genre so pathetic. I enjoyed the game a lot, the combat cab be wonky at times, but the environments and the umbral mechanic are awesome. To me it has more replayability than lies of p even though I enjoyed it as well.
Lobos, just figured out that the lamp can pull any stray souls from anywhere on the map by using the sucky ability that kills parasites. We dont have to run over them to collect them.

At around 58 minute mark, Lobos says that higher reflection settings turn on RTX. Just to clarify, that is not correct (at least not at this point in time). The description of reflection settings does mention raytracing, but that's just the less accurate software Lumen that's part of UE5, not hardware accelerated RT.

i am so on the fence on this to buy or not ,as i played the original Lord of fallen .like that it had more cinematic. clunky but i like the story. but this may be too hard for me. maybe harder then demon souls.i like magic but i always like strength to carry a great sword what class would be that ?
The game is a lot of fun. It’s not crazy hard. I’m a bit over leveled and I’m 1st trying most bosses. Magic is mid in my opinion, not much variety. It’s definitely a support kinda thing. If you aren’t up your own ass with biases, it’s a great game.
This game is a proper ds2 clone. More soulslike than lies of p for sure. Lies of p is a lot more linear, and a lot more sekiro. I'm a bit sad it's not gonna get a lot of praise because it's hard and it needs a bit of polishing, but damn I'm happy i bought it.

It’s like they think being pissy contrarians is a personality, and don’t realize they just come across as sad and whiney. Try not to let it get to you! I’ve been loving the game, and have had very few issues, even at launch. The one thing I’LL complain about is the co-op: we mainly play Soulslikes as a multiplayer experience, and the way they did it in this game is excellent (and I hope other similar games’ developers take notice), but it was advertised as ‘3 player online,’ but you can only beckon 1 other friend (with the 3rd player being a potential invader…). So, it ends up with 2 of us playing, and a 3rd friend inevitably just sitting in the party waiting their turn to play with one of us. Pretty frustrating, and I hope the dev team patches in a 2nd summon soon.

Lightfall completed is how you get the Spider-Man green whip and swing overpower and reach level 1770 they added a new dungeon fire team finder for like Crota’s End and Root of Nightmares with Nezarec which at 1800 maybe I could get to the end of with two level 1815 ppl maybe - season of wish has been fun so far and owning lightfall premium annual pass which lasts until season 23 for 180 more days you get seasonal bounties to level like doing crucible bounties with lord shaxx and bounties with Riven in season of wish during those dungeons and trials of Osiris bounties and armor at level 1770 required. I did like lightfall, witch queen, 20 hours of crucible, 10 hours of season of wish, 5 hours of festival of the lost near Halloween, and 5 hours of trials of Osiris Final shape comes out June 2024 prettt fun

People need to stop with the damn comparisons of LOP and LOTF. Two different type of game mechanics and art design. Players should gravitate towards the one that brings them the most enjoyment and stop critiquing the other because it does not. In my opinion, LOTF looks like a snoozefest, while LOP was a thrill ride. I'll reserve a genuine assessment of LOTF until I actually play it, however, no shade on those who are truly enjoying the game.

My biggest issue with the game is the mobs are basically level scaling with the player, hitting and taking the same amount of damage in the beginning as the end game. Removing some sense of progression Honestly by the end of it I felt somewhat bitter, like my time was wasted, due to the game being very one note. I was pushing through hoping it would introduce different enemies or mechanics. Happy you enjoyed tho’ as I’m sure you need something new to sink ur teeth into.
It's the same with Dark Souls tho. High level areas have stronger enemies, while early game areas have weaker enemies. If you go to an early game area in either game, you'll be able to one shot most enemies and they won't do much damage either. The thing is that most enemies of endgame were already in previous areas, so you're fighting the same enemies but stronger. In Souls games there's more variety on end game areas, but there's also similar enemies from early game which get buffed at endgame.

It's alot better than DarkSouls 2! To be honest it's not a bad game at all. The biggest issue I have with the game is the boss fights being way too easy. It's mad because the getting to bosses can he extremely frustrating! Specially with the laser aim of the enemies that throw or shoot, but the bosses are way too simple. The studio did it the wrong way round! They should of made the boss fights alot more difficult, and the fights to the boss should of gave u the power fantasy! In my opinion anyways. I still really enjoyed the game! When DarkSouls 2, well I absolutely despised the game from beginning to end! Lies Of P is a much better game than alot of FromSofts ip's! I think the only FromSoft ip's that are better than Lies Of P are Bloodborne, my favourite Souls-borne, and maybe as good as Lies Of P I would say DarkSouls 3 and Sekiro whilst the rest i feel Lies Of P is better! I am just so happy that we finally have a clue more studios who can make games in the Souls-borne genre as good, or even better in many ways than FromSoftware, because it means I haven't gotto wait a shit loads yrs for the nxt good game in this genre. Finally we have at-least 2 studios that can stand toe to toe with FromSoft! And that can only be a good thing!

That two phase boss fight was absolutely nutty, much better than the fallen angel near the start of the game.
