Thanks for this. But does anyone else think it's completely ridiculous that we have to do this work around between two Microsoft Products? Shouldn't OneDrive be one of the primary data sources that PowerBI looks for?
My work peers and I have a suspicion that this was built by someone else and purchased by Microsoft and they just slapped a ribbon on it to say it's a Microsoft product. Not much of it functions as the other Microsoft apps do. SMH

Hi there I have some issues. I already get data source path from my one drive using web path and the after I publish to Power BI report server it wont connect to data source. What authentication should I choose? Windows or Basic? Thanks
I have a Power Bi question. Hopefully you will be able to answer. So i update weekly reports into PBI via Excel and i do the cleaning every week in Excel. Is there a way for me to do the cleaning once in PBI power query and then just upload the weekly unclean reports into PBI every week without doing the same cleaning? If so, how do i go about doing it step by step.
I finished building my project completely and was using dataset from disk e, but now I want to copy data to one drive without the trouble of rebuilding the report again, what is the solution?
