It's a gorgeous looking bike for sure! Nice to see Rabjab back and his bike too
He had only got out the day before. He's resting more this week which is good. He should pop by on Saturday I think
@@motorcyclerescuer hope he's taking it steady!
I think the Harley looks really cool...Nice to see Rabjab back up & about too
Yeh it's a great looking bike I think and sounding. It's a great riding bike aswell.
Welcome back Rabjab . Good to see you . Don't push yourself too hard though . Takes time to fully heal up . All the best mate .
Harley looks and sounds good . A great buy for someone at that sort of money .
Yes I've told him the same. I think he is resting a fair amount this week which is good.
And yes the Harley is stunning especially for the price
Welcome back Rajab!
Don’t try jump starting a bike Rabjab!! Good to see you back 👍👍
He's fairly upbeat this week which is nice. He will be back on Saturday I think so I can discuss more of how he's feeling. He seemed ok last Sun but had only got our of hospital the day before.
Cheers Carl
Great to see Rabjab back and helping out :)
Yes definitely
Good to see Rabjab.
Yes, hopefully we will see him tomorrow
The bike is brilliant. I have this one with Ohlins front and back suspension upgrade. It’s a very capable bike. Love it. I miss the Harley orange spring colour of rear suspension after the upgrade
That's interesting as I was considering swapping out the red ones for black to match the dark theme of the bike.
I love mine although the alarm kills batteries which is really annoying. I've been disconnecting mine if I'm not using the bike for weeks at a time.
@@motorcyclerescuer I use a Nocco jump starter and Nocco connector cable to battery. When no charge in battery just plug the jump starter and it starts( jump started is stored in swing arm bag, it has 5 -starts and stays charged for a year). The caveat is the battery will lose its recharging power if no trickle charger used ( if you have enough sunlight just use Oxford solar battery charger). If I don’t use the bike for like six months I just remove the main fuse and no drain of battery.
Regarding shocks the Harley-Davidson original one give the bike a pop and Harley makes thing beautiful and good quality. I have the Ohlins black line and it looked good- all blacked out but I think the Harley-Davidson design was better looking.
@@cisa1622 I've been considering one of them charge packs but never followed through. I may get one after your recommendation. For all the bikes I do.
For me I will be selling my Harley around Easter. I'm going to be keeping the 76 Honda cb200 as it can sit in the background and rise in value. I just don't ride enough to justify keeping the Harley. It will be up for around £4500 which is the cheaper end of the market considering it's done less then 3000 miles from new
@@motorcyclerescuer the bike at 4.5K is a bargain for a person who is looking for weekend rides or once in a while long trip. The foot pegs is high and I understand why it is high after I swapped the foot control mount with street 500 mounts. The original street rod 750 foot controls and mount give great control especially the rear brakes+lean angle. If you are taller guy swapping the controls + mount to street 500 will make the ride a lot more comfortable ( the right side is direct swap and the left is also easy …only need to drill one hole on the mount to align the bolts). I have used 3.5 inch Rox pivoting riser to add comfort( no additional cable needed). Have installed Memphis shade sport windshield ( a bigger windshield when travelling longer is an easy swap with Memphis shade products )and Corbin gunfighter seat. Will install sw motech urban bags for luggage if I plan to travel long distances. Any customisation can be done on this bike . I miss cruise control and wished Harley had an option.
Rabjab is officially Bionic lol.
Great to see him out n about.
He's stronger then ever lol
Looking to pick up a 750 around April/May - Will keep an eye on things
I'm actually putting this up at 4,5k at Easter. Your welcome to pop by and take a look at some point. It's the cheapest in the country in the best condition with very low miles
So glad to see you back Rabjab! Please take it easy and try and rest up brother!
That Harley just looks and sounds awesome Charlie! With regards to what you were saying about proportions, would you say it has a longer wheelbase than most bikes? Or does it just look longer on the camera?
That's a good question, I would need to check actually. I think it's a small is bike so kinda looks squashed and long.
@@motorcyclerescuer it would be good to see it alongside something like Garys Bandit as a size comparison.
I think he's down this weekend. I'll definitely do that. Worth seeing.
nice to see RJAb back, its all about cranking power crappy jump leads wont give you the push needed to over come the compression on that Harley
Unfortunately that isn’t quite correct. The leads will handle it fine. If the old battery is completely dead then that will be stealing all the amps before the starter does.
There was no old battery in it, I ran leads from the car battery direct to the bike.
And I'm afraid your wrong, there are many cheap jump leads out there that won't carry enough voltage to run higher compression vehicles. Including Diesel cars etc.
These are kinda medium priced leads. Not to bad but the Harley wasn't having it. The new battery was good though.
@@motorcyclerescuer you can push any voltage and draw any amperage through any type of cable. What will happen is the cable will get hot and melt if they aren’t up to it. If there was not battery then it’s possible the connections were not good enough.
The connections were good, no problems with connections at all.
The leads weren't good enough to carry the voltage. Hence why putting the battery in started the bike.
I though you were going to connect Rabjab to the car battery for a minute there, yeah I had Aprillia with a Rotax engine high compression and was a pain if the battery was down abit wouldn't bump start either
Lol to sort out his hair.
Yeh the Harley seems to be very high compression. But is going great with it's own battery.
I would like to add a battery cut off though as the alarm kills the battery if not used often
@@motorcyclerescuer Sounds like a good, and perhaps bad idea, difficult one 👍
Hope you can help changed oil and filter other day and my oil window is like a white colour someone says its condesation will go after a good run it was running on e10 but topped up now on e5 hope thats the case many thanks
Yes it almost definitely is condensation. It could also be a blown head gasket on a liquid cooled bike or if fuel has leaked down into the oil which happens on some bikes like er5 etc.
🏍👍
Cheers Stephen
I think you'd regret it Charlie if you sold it
Possibly Lee but it's the kind of bike that's more hassle sitting around. The alarm kills the battery even in rest mode etc. I may need to put a battery cut of switch on it to stop that. Also it cost £100 a month in tax and insurance to keep where as the cb200 is tax free and the insurance is £80 for the year.
So I think I will sell when it comes to it.
My aim is to minimize some of my debts as I pay out almost £1000 a month in them
Rather pay the extra and use E5 petrol in my bikes
I think it probably is e5. I think the last full was but as I couldn't remember I felt best to put a little fuel injection cleaner in and get it fired up.
Was not sure how you were trying to jump start your bike, but wanted to give a warning to you and others, ''Do Not Jump Start When Car I Running.'' Here is a video telling why.
ruclips.net/video/flca6E5-J4Y/видео.html
I'm aware of that but these cheap jump leads will only carry so much current which was the problem to start with. If I was using a good high powered set of leads then yes jumping with the engine running could be an issue.
Cheers James
