with the awkward bad joke, I don't think he was actually joking, I think he said it, saw lady tamayo's reaction and quickly pivoted to avoid backlash from his crush.
I don't think it's exactly 'getting memories back' but rather an effect of the hypnosis therapy she was put through. Which is kinda strange, since I assumed it was only meant to protect humans.
I agree! But Urokodaki also told her in her sleep that "Never forgive any demons who BRINGS HARM ONTO HUMANS", so that kinda makes sense that Nezuko regards Tamayo and Yushiro as her family...
You consistently have one of the best breakdowns of shows on RUclips. Great stuff all around! I will say that I think 'vindictively' works in context, because 1. Tanjiro is a Demon Slayer (plenty of bad blood there) 2. Tanjiro insulted Muzan enough for him to call for his head. As underlings, I think using a word that implies vengeance works really well for them, and vindictively also carries an idea of cruelty. I'm still pretty mediocre at Japanese, though ^ ^;
Tanjiro really has to learn the Intricacies of having inhuman battle partners (foes and allies). He has only Just entered the arena above simple flesh eating ghouls... The battle Plans will have to be more complex than "surround it and hit it till it dies". These 2 are just Tier 2 Street Thugs in the Muzan Demon gang. They aren't even hopped up on that bloodpact PCP. They just SERVE the Twelve Kizuki, hoping for a chance to one day ascend.
Nice reaction as always! I agree with you, Teeaboo, about the translation: It'd fit better to have "cruelly" than "vindictively" to me, too, since those demons have nothing to revenge for him... Weird. Also, I wonder why they didn't translate the words, Mari (ball), Temari (hand ball) and Kemari (kicking ball) stuff...? Would those word sound strange in English? (I'm not a native speaker of English, so, forgive me if I'm being off...) Anyway, I really love Yushiro in this episode and I kind of believe that he was dead serious when he suggested to escape, but then suddenly pretended as if it were a joke as he saw her reaction. Hahaha.
Temari and Kemari are the names of the games/sports so there isn't really a need to translate them, it's like Karate, you wouldn't want subs to translate it with "empty hands" lol. What's weird though is that at certain points (@3:56 on the episode for exemple), Tanjiro only says "Mari" (so "Ball"), but the subs would still write it as Temari.
@@Kopplex Ohh, I see. I didn't know Temari can also mean a game. And yeah, I noticed that Mari/Temari subtitles, too! It sure is weird. And I'm surprised you have good ear and good knowledge of Japanese culture! :)
Yeah I think that "vindictively" was some pretty fucking dumb translation on the part of whomever. My Japanese is shite and I know that "zankoku (na)" means cruel/cruelly/cruelty. NGE opening much?
What I'm thinking is if Nezuko protected humans because of Urokodaki's hypnotic suggestion(All humans are your family), then how could she distinguish between good demons and bad ones. Or maybe she just do what Tanjiro told her to do? It seems that Tanjiro can communicate with Nezuko without any problem. If so, she don't need hypnotic suggestion at all.
It`s so late but his suggestion he gave her is just like advice in a sense is making her desire to protect her family extend to all good people, he told her to hurt demons that hurt human so not all demon either
at around 21:27 during the ED it shows Tanjiro and Nezuko running towards their mom and presumably their dad. and by the looks of it he has the same earings that Tanjiro wears and the same red hair he has. safe to assume that Muzan has a grudge on Tanjiro's pops.
Hey Teeaboo, if u have some free time can u read this, for the next reaction to Kimetsu no Yaiba, pls pay extra close attention to the ED, there's alot of surprising things i found out, just by looking at it. Anime-only here, just like you.

"the dude with insane hand-eye coordination" - buahaha
"that baller chick and that guy with insane hand eye coordination" had me cracking up

Well those demons are not bad ones and knowing how considerate Tanjiro is towards demons, she would have the same kind of compassion to those who help
@@cuemog3088 - That's the way I see it as well.
@@cuemog3088 The suggestion is not absolute. She sees Tamayo and Yushiro as humans.
Nezuko.
Cute.

I like that I barely need to comment because some always has the same thought

Mid battle perfectly timed/landed bad jokes... yes please
wtf this episode felt like 5 minutes
I liked the temari demon... then again, I love the crazy giggly ones (Himiko Toga), and muscly ladies

I like the Dub translation, Brutally. Dethklok approves.
Funny how I notice the trio in the op the same time you did.

That's Tanjiro's younger brother he has dark hair and a mole by his eye, it might be their father though or it might be Tanjiro.
@@pjs2278 ah i didnt catch the mole, it does kinda look like the person sitting there has a beard which is why i assumed it was their father.
@@pjs2278 Yeah, it might be Tanjiro's father from the color of his clothe! I don't think I've seen him wearing black and red pattern so far...
Kinda feels they wasted a lot of time this episode
