What they really mean i think is dont strip it everyday. They mean dont strip the natural oils and dry it out because alot of people dont use beard specific products for various reasons. I wash my beard everyday but i use a gentle beardwash that doesnt strip the natural oils. I use BABC products and my kids love to smell my beard.
Hey man thanks for watching. I don’t do any trimming of fly always. A fly away today may not be one tomorrow and now it’s been cut shorter. When I trim, it is along the bottom only. Sure, you can use beard oil twice a day. Once in the morning and then again in the afternoon or evening would be a great routine. I will use beard butter in the evenings as well most of the time. Mess around with products and see what works best for you . Enjoy the journey.
Usually I use oil in the morning after shower and beard butter in the evening. But I change it up. It’s not always the same. Whatever works best. It depends on comb or brush on the length of your beard. Are used a number of wood brushes along the way and now use a wide tooth comb. A short beard needs a bore bristle for sure. Change things up and see what works best for your beard texture , etc.
Hey Joe T, what do you think about Shea moisture beard wash, I use it and it seems like a pretty good product. Didn't know if you ever used it, if so do you like it?. Thanks for your great vids👍
Hey Gary. Thanks for watching I appreciate it 👊🏻 I’m not aware of all of the ingredients in body butter so I can’t compare the two. I am sure they are different in that body butter has ingredients more for body care and beard butters have more ingredients intended for the beard. I suggest to find a good quality beard product that is close to natural ingredients as possible. Find one that your beard likes the way in feels in beard and smells good 👍
I have had a beard for 20 years and wash mine every nite and in the morning I co wash it and it's soft white and it shines when I'm in the sun always get compliments and people want too touch and smell it.

detroit wash has been a go to for a while. Honestly the only good product they have nowadays. not too stripping, depending on water temp.
Yeah, I don’t want anything too stripping. I would rather have a daily wash.

Exactly...with quality care thats what you get.
I have had people ask to smell my beard as well..lol
So I'll be honest, I wash mine once or twice a week, I know I can wash it everyday, I just don't
Hey man if it work for you..do it!
I like to see that the products are missing a lot of the chemicals that you can find in hair care.
Yes, quality small batch is the way to go.
