I got a pair of these for £22 from ebay (the white ones, as it goes) to replace my Aftershokz Titanium, which after less than a year of use had stoped working properly (no mic and really unstable BT connection). I'm actually really impressed with them. The sound quality isn't quite as good - the bass is a little bit less prominent, primarily but it's a long, long way from being ~£120 worse. I mainly listen to spoken-word - podcasts, etc while walking the dog and they're great for that. The microphone for calls works better than with my Aftershokz. And BT connection seems bullet proof compared to the Aftershokz and even to my in-ear Beats. For less than £25, you really can't go wrong with these.
I bought the x3 pro, the x4 and the x5 to choose. Comparing them, it's funny how the cheaper model (x3 pro) is the one with better sound. It has worse battery, lack some resources but it's the one that sounded good, having more dinamic and bass. Also, it's a little bit louder. Ranking them, it would be 1st - X3 pro, 2nd - X5 and 3rd - X4.
Just bought these from Temu and paid $36 AUD and they really good - also they switch seamlessly between two devices which is what I was looking for to travel on the train. Sound quality is surprisingly good considering I was doubtful about bone conduction. I will still use my Apple EarPod Pros for movies and music but this was great for working and travelling, running and cycling. The microphone for calls was also very adequate.
I just bought these headphones but I am having trouble pairing them with both my iPad Air 4 & my iPhone 14…the problem is, when I pull up my Bluetooth list on either device, these headphones do not show…& yes I do have the headphones turned on (not that it’s easy to tell if they’re on or off because the light is so tiny). Can anyone help with this??? Thank you…
If use during high intensity outdoor sports is ur priority, bone conduction is a game changer and nothing else comes close. Im constantly recommending these to active friends. If u intend to use on public transport and high noise environments, these will not perform well at all, don't expect these to replace ur regular earbuds. That said, most fitness enthusiasts have fitness tracking watches with built in bluetooth and music so mp3 capabilities would be redundant.
I have previously used two pairs of the Aftershokz Titanium and Aftershokz Air. How would this compare? It sounds to me that call quality is not as great because noise cancellation does not work so well. I wear my Air all the time, and multipoint pairing between laptop and phone. It is unfortunate that these headphones do not have the feature. I think you may be misunderstanding the market behind bone conduction. For listening to music and mp3s proper IEMs or headphones are best. These headphones have a huge following among sports folk, cyclists, business people. These folk don't care too much about audio quality, and are happy to listen to streaming audio and podcasts. Multipoint pairing and call quality is quite important - mp3 storage not so much. Thanks for the review btw. Much obliged.
I can tell u that I had these paired to my phone and laptop and it switched almost seemlessly.. I think It depends on the Bluetooth type because I had them synced to my car and again it switched quickly on it own when my phone was off while I was driving
I agree. Funnily enough, it sounds better than their more expensive brothers (x4 and x5). It lack in resources but it shines in the characteristics that are important.
The concept behind the bone conuctive speakers is sound. I have a pair and they are good for listening to a, podcast or watching something on YT. But for music I feel they are still lacking in terms of dynamism. Plus they pretty much need to be recharged on a daily basis. Which is inconvenient for me! And with micro USB no the less 🤦♂️😄 Thank you for the transparent review Sir Sean😊✌✌ as always.
It's probably true about the Bluetooth 5.3 since it has been around since last year but rarely any Bluetooth devices have come out with it, the Tozo A1 for example have Bluetooth 5.3, it's just starting to get adopted but it'll take a while
You need to have Xe6 or o6 for usb C, with 1080 points 7,77 on alie , normally 10,50 / 20 euro. Thx for the info, thr micro is a no go since I vould get them for 13 bucks, and the Bttery on these things is quite weak at this time and under the 20 limit or something that headphones have.
At this point, I just cringe when people pretend that MicroUSB is such a big deal. Does nobody use a PS4 anymore? Does everyone who has a Kindle have one made in the past few years? It's so easy to have MicroUSB and USB C coexist in a household, and the weirdest part is that if you're a tech enthusiast, you really can't escape MicroUSB, so it implies that you don't have very many electronics in your house (or that you did but you're wasteful and think you have to upgrade everything just to make it new).
Hey can you do a video on the new SoundPeats Air3 Pro and compare the ANC with the Mini Pro and T3 and case size with the regular Air3 and Mini perhaps?
I got this Headphones in White. They are A little bit silent, but akzeptabel. Because of my bighead it's a little small and are more on my front ears then on my Bones.
I've been watching this for the charging port.....is this from 2022 or they have multiple version's? They are already at the X5 and it has a Special Cable, i think since you need to charge a lot. I want a X5 since i don't want micro USB
I am looking for conduction bone just for making and answering phone calls. Appreciate that you took the time to test the phone calls quality. I would very much appreciate if you could recommend a conduction with good call quality. Does having an extended microphone helps?
I compared to Shokz OpenMove ($90). OpenMove are more powerful(louder), but music quality is probably 30% better (very subjective, I understand). What makes the huge difference is the microphone. On Thinkplus X3 Pro I can't understand what my son is saying, while OpenMove don't have this issue. Seems like higher frequency is completely cut off by Thunkplus. So if I used the headphones for listening only - I would stick with Thinkplus X3, as value for money is awesome in this respect. But to be able to make/answer calls - I am buying Shokz now (luckily my friend lent me a pair for the "test drive")
I'd appreciate it if you could clarify what you meant by "FM radio". If it's actually FM radio quality, then it's hands game-changing tech that blows all other bone conducting headphones out of the water, and that's clearly not the case here. I suspect you aren't aware of how FM radio actually sounds. Perhaps you meant to say AM radio? That would make a lot more sense. Bone conducting headphones can't even come close to the fidelity of FM radio, my gosh.
These actual sound extremely good and the bass can really thump at times... Its the treble that needs a little help and people always say I sound good on phone calls
The truth is that Lenovo is not good at Bone conduction headphones,This low-priced product should be an OEM product. I don't think a Bone conduction headphone with a price below $50 will perform well. I have tried Shokz ($150), Wissonly ($90), and Viddon(below $50). Only Wissonly and Shokz have satisfied me.
@@jasonbourne6531 depends on what you'll use it for. Transmitting sound via our bone (or teeth) will never even become close to sound transmitted through the entire ear system (a.k.a. air conduction). If sound quality is a priority, then no way should one use bone conducting headphones.

Is it possible to use X3 in a swim pool?
@@ORA-01403 nope. You can do this only with X5, the only model that's fully waterproof.

Is X3 pro have dual connection?

Same here. 1st purchase on temu.

Yeah.. it connected with my Garmin well.. the 5.3 BT is true bcuz i used to have the 5.0 but couldn't pair with the watch.. 😊
I don't have a smartwatch and will never buy one, so yes a built in the mp3 player would be useful.
