Eight long years ago Devolver made a terrible mistake. They almost published Astroneer! Imagine that. Sadly, the award-winning Seattle-based developer System Era went on to find extraordinary fame and success without them, and the rest is history.
Until now.
Today, after almost a decade of mutual admiration and friendship, Devolver Digital and System Era declare their undying love for one another in the only way they know how: by turning down the lights, turning up the heat, and forming a strategic business relationship.
Back when Devolver and System Era were just a glint in the video game industry’s eye, both teams vowed to build companies that reflected their spirit of independence. They placed passion and creativity proudly at the forefront of their businesses, and quickly found success. Now, they have new ambitions that they felt could be explored better, together.

Its nice, in the age of games with poor performance, lack of innovation and relying on upscaling tech as a crutch. That we have a publisher that just releases game games for gaming gamers. No billion dollar investment revolutionary metaverse transhumanistic live service "platform" games. Just good fun games that are games, nothing more nothing less. @@mlgcactus1035 Good for you, there is no room for debate and I am not allowed to dislike upscaling. DLSS have ghosting issues in ALL games, I notice them not everyone does good for you but they annoy me. FSR have shimmering and bad Antialiasing effects as well as ghosting sometimes but less ghosting then DLSS but awful AA shimmering. I have not seen a single game ever where I cant instantly tell be it in a youtube video or seeing it myself irl if FSR or DLSS is on or off and I hate it. But I am not allowed to dislike it I guess.

@Maggpieify Nobody said that that FSR was perfect since it's hand tuned after all, unlike dlss, and there is minor ghosting in some games. But that dosent change how this tech has allowed games to push real time rendering further then never before.
So don't put every game that uses DLSS on the same basket of "unoptimized games"
