【With subtitles】Replace the muffler of AE86 (corolla gt-s) and compare a total of 3 types of sounds.

- The AE86's engine is in bad shape, and we are worried about the silencer collapsing and clogging, so we will replace the muffler as part of troubleshooting. I will replace it with Barnacle Regalis R (powerful sound type).
Rigid axle used in old cars such as AE86. A little special work is required to replace the muffler of a car that uses this method. I will explain in detail the whole process of how it works.
At the end of the video, we will deliver the following muffler sound as a sound comparison.
① KMS original muffler (Koshimizu Motor Sports)
② FUJITSUBO Legalis R. W tail (powerful sound type)
③ As a bonus, a SACLAM Pipe (*extremely rare item)
Unfortunately, ① is the sound when I had an engine problem, so it's a little understated and I have shortness of breath. It's also possible that the sound was taken with an iPhone. ② and ③ are shot with GoPro.

自分には、知識も工具もないので業者にお任せですが、純正からLegalis R（Sテール）＋フジツボのエキマニに交換予定（作業着手待ち）で参考になりました。
ちなみに、気のせいかも知れませんが、触媒が純正ではないように見えました。違っていますか。

触媒はアフターマーケット品のメタルキャタライザーですね。確かSARDのものだったかと。

とあるAE86専門店でもSARDの触媒を販売していたので相性が良いのでしょうね。
@@user-mo3kj9yr6i そうかもしれませんね。触媒交換は音質含めて効果高いと思います。テールが迫力サウンドタイプだと車検的にはギリギリですが、テールシングルの標準タイプなら音質・音量も良い感じになりそうですね。
音が良くなるとレスポンスが欲しくなるので、クラッチ摩耗の際はフライホイール交換もおすすめです。
