Capital punishment for murder and life sentence for attempted murder. Also there used to be a 3 strikes law the gave a life sentence for the 3rd felony. If these laws were implemented in chicago murders, shootings ,stabbings would be very rare in a years time. However the voters prefer that criminals have more freedom than victims so remaining in chicago is a dangerous choice
More camera surveillance. People are afraid to be witnesses, but cameras can speak for them.
