If he was defending himself against two other men, as soon as the police arrived he had the choice to drop the knife and let the police help him or take control of the situation. The police had to shoot at him he had a knife and was stabbing a man in front of them, tased him wouldn’t had stopped him and he would had continued stabbing the other man so they did their job.
