Bought the R/W device the other day from the guys at BHPUK, arrived the next day. Used it to send them my map yesterday and they sent me back a new modified map a few hours later. Uploaded to the bike and it purrs like a kitten. I can revert back to the original map whenever I want. Simple, easy to use device (even for a dummy like me), great service, couldn't be happier.
After a lot of research i bought one from BHPuk for my KTM the customer service is second to none they are so helpful even after i did the remap they contacted me to make sure everything went ok which it did, i cannot recommend these guys enough the bike felt awesome what a difference this has made any questions they are happy to help. emailed questions were responded to very quickly.
After installing a BHPUK remap using the re-flasher tool, if you were to take the bike into the dealer for service etc (prior to doing this, you reinstall the original OEM map), if they install a software update, can this be saved to the reflasher tool, before reloading the the BHPUK remap, so you always have a copy of the most upto date factory OEM software map?
Before the vehicle goes to the dealership you should put the original map back on the bike or car. If your vehicle isn’t updated then you can reload the modified file again. If your vehicle gets updated, we will write a new file for the updated software. As you already have the flasher you only pay a fee for the updated file.
I'm getting the idea that that the DIY flash unit only works with motorcycles. Is that correct? I've a 2008 L320 Range Rover Sport 3.6 TDV8. I've also a 2004 Honda Goldwing GL1800. Can the flash unit be used on more than one vehicle?
This is for Euro 5 models? Which is better for Euro 4 this or a piggyback like Power commander or Powertronic which gives you a choice of 2 maps at a press of a button on the bars?
Sounds great.So on my Euro 4 Interceptor I get it for 2-2 big bore,S&S slip on's,booster plug,air filter & decide to do a cam in future you send me appropriate remap or it in flasher already & select remap with cam?
Thank you. Not sure what an EXCU is. The programmers are made for us by a third party company called Dimsport. In our opinion Dimsport make the best and most reliable programmers on the market. They’re not cheap but we stake our reputation on on them so worth every penny.

does anyone at BHP UK has experience with a newer bmw, and the warrenty?I would love to flash my bmw s1000xr '22 . But im scared of the dealer finding out even with the original map back in place
@akainazuma9957 hello 👋, I just did the flash 1 week ago, just after the service (20.000km), in the Netherlands the bmw dealer is only worried if you crash the bike in some way, get it back to the dealer with the remap on the bike. In that case the warranty is void. Otherwise just ask them to NOT update the bike, only when absolutely necessary. Because then you have to reset the handheld.. I'm a happy camper with the reflash.. 🏍
Surely not that simple. What about options. Ie i have a v4 streetfighter. What about removing limiter on lower gears. Also do you rolling road after for a better set up?

@@simonharvey8498 Yes all restrictions are removed in the lower gears. As for us it better in the dyno, if you have a really bespoke setup then it’s better on the dyno if the bike is standard or has just an end can or decat then you’ll get the same result with the flasher.
@BHPUK I have a servo buddy and exhaust valve delete. Still have the cat and akro can that came with the bike. Doesn't sound half bad with the cat still on it. The reason I ask if it can clear the service light is because I do 90 percent of service on my own motorcycle. The nearest service center is 90 minutes away from me, And it's a pain in the butt to take it there because I have to make an appointment and drop it off. I'm interested in buying a tune from you. Do you ship to the states?

This is for remapping your bike. generally a remap is better than a piggyback

Im trying to understand if you can revert to a standard map and back to the re map multiple times on the same bike without extra costs?
Yes you can switch between the original and the modified file as many times as you like and there is no cost.
How much do the new maps cost?
I'd love one! but import duties to europe makes it just too expensive 😞
