    In this video you touched-on back-pressure created by the baffle. Conventional wisdom would state that back-pressure is bad yet it runs better with the baffle in. Does it perhaps increase the exhaust velocity creating a negative pressure back wave helping with scavenging ? Alternatively could you explain why?

      When the bike makes 104 stock at the wheel.. 8hp is just under 10% gain at the top end.. but the main power is in 3rd/4th gear partial throttle pulls where this bike excels on B-Roads

    Excellent explanation bro, could you please tell me when you remap the 2022 on MT10 if the fueling is only remapped in one throttle mode or is it a new baseline fuel map across all modes.. Thanks

      We leave the throttle maps alone so you can still use your modes as usual.

    Another rare, relatively low selling bike being tuned. I've given up on tunes for the more popular bikes. Surely it would make more sense from a business point of view? There are people crying out for a UK tune for the new MT09. Just get a development bike already...

      @@jamiepoole5193 we remap pretty much everything from the low volume stuff like this through KTMs to our most popular tunes on BMWs and Ducatis. If it burns petrol and has an ECU we’ll do our best to tune it. Take a look at our socials you’ll see everything from bikes to super cars to tractors and commercials.

      @@BHPUK I appreciate that, but im coming from the point of view of using your ecu flasher for the 24 MT,09. At this point, I've kinda given up hope of it happening anytime soon, so will have to look at a custom dyno tune more locally.

    Same thing with my multi 950 2018. I did put termignoni full race systems with decut and i lost 2hp. With the remapping it went 104 same

    Hi I just installed the upmap t800+ on my ducati streetfighter v2 and I'm running on the akra air intake, k&n airfilter and arrow exhaust. Before the bike when decelerating popped and banged loud and it was fun but now with the upmap installed it doesn't do that anymore and I'm honestly a bit upset because I thought it would increase the pops and bangs. Do you have any idea if it's because the bike is running to lean?

    Great video! Seem easy enough, will see when I get my exhaust system. One question... would it be recommended to use anti seizing grease in the front pipe expansion joint? Or just connect it as is? like is mentioned on the video around minute 11:50? Thanks

    End cans look a lot like Cobra build stuff... It seems to fit nicely, had one on my Street Triple RS that needed some changes to get it fitted. Caused me some trouble, but it does look and sound really brutal now.

    I'm still on a 2012 Multistrada 1200S. Be interesting to see a comparison between one my age compared to the new ones. My bike has been at 155mph with panniers on, was stable

    The v4 sf has slightly lower service intervals 7500 service/ 15000 valves compared to the rs 9000 service/18000 valves, I would say that’s why the rs engine is restricted slightly

    Love your channel and I'm a subscriber and most likely a future client. IMHO, Both are big tall heavy pigs although one is stronger than the other. I'm sticking to the 1260 Pikes Peak as long as I can as below 8,000 rpm the 1260 blow both these bikes away in usable street power and torque (not shown). It's also the last "TRUE " Pikes Peak as none of these great pretenders have ever been in Colorado to race.

    Let me have the NON-DESMO edition. I don't need the last bleeding drop of HP out of it, however, I do need the ergos and power of a modern sport bike on stilts.and less body work to get mangled on a spill and easier to work on. 👌😎👍

    I have the EVO mapping from Ducati came with the race exhaust. Are you going to put the exhaust on and tune it? I think its a very big part of the engine.I'm getting 190 at crank 182 at the rear wheel.

      Yep, they can make big bucks off of Ducati owners since Ducati owners will pay an arm and a leg for a metal pipe that the Chinese makes to the same quality for a fraction of the price.

      This video is just about Ducati, but our channel isn't. Granted that in the last 20 videos 7 have been Ducati as we have just launched our exhaust for the Hypermotard 950 as well as launching our development and remapping for the new Multi V4 RS but we have also uploaded 5 Kawasaki videos in that time as well as videos from another 6 different Manufacturers - BMW, Yamaha, MV, Aprilia, Username Kate's Suzuki and finally a Harley :)

    RS has same wheels as Pikes Peak. The rear titanium RS subframe saves 5.5 pounds. RS has a 3-lb. lighter battery. 8.5 pounds weight difference..

    Very good comparison, thanks. The Pikes Peak produces more useful torque, pulls higher gearing, so should feel more relaxed at cruise - the RS when mapped, revs 3,750 higher than the PP, so with lower gearing can more than equal the thrust at the tyre in the mid-range and have a higher top speed.....would feel busier though, nice quandary to have !
