Good work. This is good information. I'm just starting on my squareback journey.

Those panels came out really good. When I picked up my '73 recently the sale included a full set of TMI replacement panels, as well as a complete carpet kit, all in black. All of my original panels and carpet were tan in color, so I'm debating between installing the black kit, or getting a tan replacement kit instead.
Did you purchase the blank template backing pieces somewhere? With my wife's help, I'd love to try to make some custom panels using templates like those.
Edit: Just went back to an earlier video and saw that you bought some eucalyptus board and traced the templates from the old door cards. Nice.
    Keep up the good work!

Yep! Traced them and cut them out myself! Cheap cheap board, something like $15, maybe less. And it covered the full interior.
I do want to eventually swap out all my black panels/seat upholstery to something brown, or tan. But that’s a ways away. For now, these will hold up just fine haha

I'm in the process of replacing the panels, too! I finished the front door and the back hatch and now I'm moving on to the back seat. That arm rest is odd, tho. I have an upper and lower piece and I'm not yet sure how it's supposed to fit together. I might tackle the wheel well covers first. Anyhoo, your panels look great!

Thanks buddy! Yeah, I feel like the back seat panels can only come off with the rear seat and seat bracket removed. I’ll have to take another stab at it another time when I really wanna get under there haha

@@jeremydoc I finally got all the panels (and the wheel well covers!) installed. I dragged my feet but it was easier than expected, plus my husband helped. We did need to unbolt(?) the bracket for the bottom portion of the panel but we didn't need to pull the seat out like I thought. The arm rest also didn't need to come off. The panels slide behind the arm rest just a bit which keeps everything snug. Next up is replacing the passenger side door seal. That's already giving me a headache.

@@angela-xoxox that's great news! I've yet to wok on my wheel well covers. What type of glue did you use?

@@jeremydoc I asked ISP and they said to use 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive spray. I couldn't find spray so I used the tube and it worked out so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
