All dogs should be fed by elevated dishes. It’s common sense to do so. The pup was unaware about the baby goat, he is innocent and young. The two adult dogs continue to guard the goats and babies

I just love the baby goat!!! When training my dog,the trainer told me to lower my voice when saying the.word come. I took him to a dog park so that he would have some distractions to learn this skill using that lower voice. It worked!!!! He listens to me better than my hubby. I know application will be different for you being he's a guard dog,but I'm sure you want him to learn those basic commands.

Russell ate 2 out of 3 feed bowls clean! No wonder he's growing! He is so smart! Çora is a goat midwife!
I think Kevin emptied koras food out of her bowl until she comes back over there so that the goats didn’t eat it. They were full one second then empty the next so I’d have to say he stopped recording to empty it back into his bucket and then started recording again. Plus he said something to kora about it.

I really enjoyed this video, Kevin. It's so interesting to watch Russell grow from babyhood and now out with his parents learning how to be a good LGD. hi Kevin I believe it's also good to divide the feeds up I can just seconds or thirds what I do is I feed my dogs twice a day and as babies as puppies I fed them three times a day one of them is a boxer they got a very tiny stomach they're kind of the waistline and it's recommended that you divide the feed into two feedings.

When you say COME and he ignores you, you need to take his collar and lead him to you. Otherwise he is learning that 'come' means nothing.
Kevin doesn't just say "come" he says.." come on here, boy" and something more and of course Russell ignores him.. He gives long sentences to all dogs and doesn't realise that they do not grasp any of it. He's not able to give a sharp command, Rachel could perhaps teach him to do so. I find it a bit annoying when Russell is doing something wrong (which is normal as he's still learning, I know) getting too close to the baby goat, he then goes back to Kevin who says to him "good boy" and pets him.! Russell might think " I have done very well.!" He also eats his parents' food but Kevin never corrects him. Sorry but I prefer Rachel when it comes to discipline..!
Consistency should extend to everyone interacting with the puppy, If a dog is receiving mixed signals from different members of the household, it can hinder their training progress. It's essential that everyone is on the same page regarding cues, training method (positive reinforcement is most effective), and rewards.
I agréé with short, sharp commands and would have thought that "come", "no", and "stay" are important for them to understand. Perhaps Kévin is better at this when he's not talking to us? But, by now, Russel should know how to "come".
