Top-end Rebuild on 1981 Honda CB750 (DOHC)

  • This is NOT a "how-to" video but in this video we obviously rebuilt the head on the CB750 after having major damage done! There are some decent tips like putting the timing back in the correct way, as well as sharing my experiences.

      I personally am not an expert on these bikes but I will say if you are taking the engine out by yourself is to have a jack, a rolling dolly, and strength lol. Also to block off any open ports when reassembling to keep nuts and bolts from falling in the engine.

      @@IngenTechNational appreciate it bro right now I’m trying to figure out where these two lines go. There are two that are sticking out from the bottom of where the carbs sits in the middle. I know you’re supposed to joint those two lines but I am not sure what is connected to it specifically. I don’t have an air box on mine. They are just like yours with four filters for the carbs. I’m going to assume they are the vacuum lines. I am only assuming because I don’t have a handbook, nor do I know much about motorcycles.

      @@AngelGarcia-jq4kf I honestly kind of forgot bro but they probably are vacuum lines. I sold this one for $600!

      Yes that's ehqt theybare I just took my air filter box out and these to likes joint together on the big sing air filter box that the bike comes stock with I'm in middle of building cafe racer it's a 1982 no problem with the bike runs amazing fpr 30,000 miles runs like a champ and is pretty fast
