Growing up watching Johnny and listening to these guys music, I can say Johnny has always had an old soul he's always been a gentleman who can make a friend in any group of people he is full of empathy & these musicians were & still are history making they don't judge they just love making art! Awesome to see the combination~!
He is immortal. :) He will probably outlast all the rockers his age. He has a genuine caring heart. I think that is what keeps him youthful, despite looking the same age for about 50 years!

Love the characters he's able to create.He is so very talented! His interviews & behind the seems are wonderful. Truly. They downplayed it in the media which I assume is because he’s still drinking & drugging as if they were 20 years old & combined with their underlying health issues it’s really putting the wear on them. To me this band is actually a testament to how drugs can really destroy your sense of perception. You have three raging alcoholics living in total denial. You would think they would want to stay alive for their families’ sake.

Although he had family & some great friends, as well as a Carer coming in each day, Lee’s “voices” drove him to self medicate, as well as take his prescription drugs. He lived in Hell, sometimes, i’d get a call at 4 am, he needed me there, because “they” were coming. He fought his fight in his own way, and passed away in his sleep at 40 yrs old, from left ventricular failure. I sometimes have the feeling that, though he would never hurt his family on purpose, he would have welcomed death, his life was just too hard. I miss him, he was funny, kind & loving, when he wasn’t freaked out. He spent hours reading the Bible, that comforted him, as did music, & I hope I did too.

I just watched several videos of HV playing Heroes & I thought, that’s Joe! Of course I know who Alice is, duh. Then I watched Johnny with Aerosmith, and got to this interview & heard them call him Joe & thought, knew that was Joe F-ing Perry!! Didn’t know that Kieth Moon drummed with them, how? Kieth died in 1978,that’s what I remember, because I was lucky enough to see the most amazing Who show in early July, 1976, I love The Who so much & adored Kieth Moon & all his get ups, he used to pal around with Dave Davies & they both loved to dress in outlandish costumes and they were best friends, Ray Davies wrote in his autobiography.
