Can I use a more powerful charger from a larger model in a model with a lower number to charge the battery faster? Does the electronics in the robot not allow this?
@@robotlawnmowersaustralia7913 You are sure of it, I have just checked the current consumption on the original charger (20V 38W 1.5A) is 1.6A. On a more powerful charger (20V 65W 3.25A) consumption is the same 1.6A.
@@marcinswiderski2506 our models here in Australia all have the same charging pcb and are definitely interchangeable with all models here. I only use a 90w power supply on my test area and charge 4ah batteries in around 90mins in all 4 model robots. It takes over 3 hours to charge these batteries with the 38w charger. I have not actually tested the power draw of these but it is clear the larger power supply charges twice as fast. I assume you are testing with a battery that is flat? If it is 80% or more the chargers will reduce the current as the battery gets closer to fully charged.
Very helpful, unfortunately all these cost way more in NZ than Oz, for no good reason, The ticker flashing for your website address is a little distracting.
Hi Sarah, if you have 1 full acre of grass then no, this model will only mow up to one third of an acre of grass. So if your whole block is 1 acre then it is likey you would have around two thirds of an acre of grass once you take out the house, driveway shed ect... So you would probably need two WR150E to do the job. Alternatively you can look at brands like Ambrogio that have larger robots to do 1 acre with one robot. robotlawnmowers.com.au/brands/ambrogio-robot-mowers/
@@sarahkhan2715 There are pros and cons to using multiple smaller robots or one larger robot. The best advice I can give you is to contact a specilist robot mower company and provide them with a video or lots of photos of your property. They can then give you the best advice of what robots are suitable for your lawn terrain and in particular any slopes you might have. If you are in Australia you can email us at sales@robotlawnmowers.com.au if you are in another country I highly suggest finding a specialised robot mower company. If you go to a company that deals primarily with other garden tools and equipment, there is a high likely hood that they will have very little understandig of how robots work and which robot is the most suitable to your terrain. They will happily sell you a robot that may or may not be suitable.😲
Hi Gary, I can only comment on Australian products and prices. These products are sold as different variations and modifications to suit the countries grass conditions. I do believe you have the same variants as we do here, but I am not sure. You should be able to find pricing pretty easy from Amazon or similar sites. Thanks.
Thanks Davo, the biggest difference between them is the Worx models have a lot more features for a lower price. Knowing the actual story of how the first Robot Lawn mower was developed, im not sure that Pioneer is the right terminology for Husqvarna. But they do have a good product. Not as durable or reliable as the Ambrogio models, but still a good product.
Excellente présentation. C'est très clair maintenant les différences entre ces 3 machines
Merci
Thanks Jean-marc. nous apprécions vos commentaires.
Awesome breakdown!
Appreciate it!

Hi, Yes you can use the 90W power supply on the smaller models and it will charge at the rate of the power supply.

They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery. I think I'll stick with my Husqvarna - the pioneers of robotic mowers!
