All I can say is: "Thank you Hollywood public works!" My street, right off A1A, would flood like something fierce over the slightest rain. I wasn't sure what they were doing at the time, but a few weeks back, they did some drilling by the drain, and lo-and-behold, today there's not even the slightest bit of flooding with all this rain! 🙌
Okay, an update, the second day of rain proved too much, and all the roads connecting to A1A in my area flooded badly. Still an improvement overall, I suppose, tho.
3rd year in a row. My fellow browardinians!! Do NOT drive your freaking cars into flooded streets that you cant clearly see the median lines. The last 2 years we experimented with flooded streets. Lets not chamce it this year if you dont have a lifted jeep from SoFlo Jeeps!
Last time I took a jeep into water, it decided to float. Which was fun and all. I enjoy adventure. I ended up pushing it into someone's front yard, and I got my truck instead. Thankfully, that was fine, and I was able to go around towing people out.
Don't even matter I head out 7:30PM for my dinner and not raining nor any standing rain stuck averaging 20MPH and dummy dumbdumb changes into my lane no gap Miaaami -.-
@@thedirtybubble9613 You saying that entire cities are going to magically upgrade their drain infrastructure in a matter of a handful of years all the while these types of rains get more intense and more frequent? Have you seen the LONG list of cities across the planet that have flooded the past month? Good luck. There isn't enough political will OR workers and materials to pull that off.

my favorite weather, this is heaven for me😍
WTF are you: a duck or a alligator?
Only if you don’t have to work
I hope this rain scares off the newcomers
😉
Hope so. Ironically those people are the ones complaining the most.
My 16 years of living in Florida. Not a chance. We need a wall to keep those newbies out.
It won’t 😂
Would you rather be electrocuted on your electric car or be eaten by sharks? What would you do?
I'd take my chances with the sharks. They don't like getting punched in the face or poked in the eye
I’m a graduate of Miami-Dade College. I’m a Shark, bro.
@@fauxque5057 Chances of you doing either , Is slim to none
Either way: you’ll end up dead!
(In case you didn’t know: that’s called a dilemma; not a choice!)

@@kennethloki7011 do you have one of those snorkels on your truck? I really want one of those!
A G63 AMG can get through the flood waters just fine as well!

Should have bought a jet ski instead
Yayyyy rain we needed the rain thank you God!!
Heatwave on the west coast, heavy rain on the east coast
It’s just going to get worse Florida. Get your governor to quit burying his head.
Not wrong but you can’t fix stupid.

I told everyone that florida will be the first tropical impact as tropical depression one. Alot of rain.
FIX your drainage system, city of Miami.
LOL. Where is it going to "drain" to?
@@teslarob4790 It's called upgrading the drain infrastructure. This isn't a third world country. Is it?

We have an excellent drainage system here in Lakeland/Polk County Central Florida. It can be done.

BCT didn’t even run for one route today! #11
So heavy their feet aren't even in the water
