@@brandawgz great thing about pitching a remake is that it’s already blueprinted for you! Whatever adjustments you want to make after that is purely personal preference. It made for a fun thought experiment! Merry Christmas to you as well! I hope Santa brought you something good this year and the new year brings good tidings!
For me ground zeroes was my favorite metal gear gameplay experience. I would want shadow moses island to be like an even more expansive camp omega and play similar to ground zeroes. That would be perfect. MGS 1 has a lot of potential for a remake if done right. The video was great btw and I hope to see more pitches.
@@MasterizorFilms I absolutely agree with this sentiment. Ground Zeroes basically sums up all the great things I love about Metal Gear. The goal I had in mind was basically to just swap out Camp Omega with Shadow Moses and expand the map size. I’m glad that struck a chord with somebody else haha
I'll just say: mgs:tts is an excellent over the top 2000s era action game, that fits well within an over the top narrative that is metal gear as a whole. I'll agree on it not being the best remake, i see it as otocons version or something lol
So you’re more interested in a reimagining, similar to Resident Evil 2, as opposed to a real remake like Shadow of the Colossus. I think what you’ve suggested changes too much of what makes the game so solid for me. I’d still be curious to see it, but I’d much rather a slightly modernized 1:1 remake.
When I was writing up the script for this video, I had to sit back and think to myself; how much would I really want to change? Because you’re absolutely right in that a total top-to-bottom reimagining is a lot, but there’s more than a few games that came out in MGS1’s generation that wouldn’t sit well with modern gamers if they were made today. Personally, I think there’s some aspects about the first game’s design that need more than a touch up in graphics, which is why I went the route I did. To me, a graphical update in the style of Spyro Reignite or Crash N.Sane Trilogy is closer to a remaster, whereas a remake tries to adjust things for a new audience. I wouldn’t be opposed to either coming out, but I think MGS1 deserves a remake with new additions rather than just a high definition update like Twin Snakes.
Video game pitch-videos like this are so underrated and hard to find. More please
Pitching a remake to a game is such a unique idea for a RUclips video I’m not sure if I’ve seen something like that before. Also Merry Christmas!

ok so your making mgs into call of duty
Well, I guess that depends. Did MGS4 & 5 feel like Call of Duty to you? If they did, then I guess yeah, I would?
