Is the area still bustling? Or is most all the get-a-way mom and pop recreation, shops, places to stay shut down? Such a sin and a shame what has become of America's vacation spots. Our beauty is still there but today is littered with once thriving now broken businesses and lives.....

as of November 2019, the lake has set a new 100 year water mark, so you can NOT step foot on shore without trespassing.
