Zevictra is a termiticide produced by Syngenta, featuring Imidacloprid as its active ingredient. Imidacloprid is a non-repellent termiticide, meaning it does not repel termites but rather is designed to be ingested or contacted by them. This non-repellent characteristic allows the termiticide to be more effective as termites do not avoid treated areas, and it can be transferred among colony members, leading to the elimination of the entire colony. Key features of Zevictra and similar Imidacloprid-based termiticides include: - **Effective Long-Term Protection**: Provides durable protection against termites when applied correctly. - **Non-Repellent**: Termites are not aware of the termiticide, which allows for better distribution and transfer within the colony. - **Low Environmental Impact**: Imidacloprid is known for its targeted action, reducing the risk to non-target organisms when used as directed. Always follow label instructions and safety guidelines when applying any Pesticide.
