2023 AWW Webinar Recording

Australian Wildlife Week, established by the Society in 2019, is celebrated nationally during the first week of October each year to encourage a positive relationship between humanity and nature.
The Society hosted a webinar to celebrate Australian Wildlife Week, showcasing wildlife research and conservation projects across Australia. We were joined by several keynote speakers who provided an overview of their projects. We were also joined by several of the Society’s 2023 University Research Grant winners, who summarised their research and the importance of protecting Australian wildlife.
Through the webinar, we hope to inspire community members to implement conservation actions to protect native flora and fauna and conserve natural habitats for future generations.
