Australian Wildlife Week, established by the Society in 2019, is celebrated nationally during the first week of October each year to encourage a positive relationship between humanity and nature.
This year, we were thrilled to present keynote speaker Andrew Cox, Invasive Species Council, who spoke about the importance of action on invasive species to safeguard Australia's wildlife, alongside our 2024 University Grant and Scholarship winners, who summarised their research and highlighted the importance of protecting Australian wildlife.
Through the webinar, we hope to inspire community members to implement conservation actions to protect native flora and fauna for future generations.
