    Don't be an idiot like me. I ignored the growth of a mole but fortunately I had a friend who was a dermatologist. I was giving her some advice on managing her staffing and just happened to ask her if I should be concerned about a mole on my forearm. Yes! Short story. She did a biopsy Melanoma stage III. The worst kinds of cancer. I had surgery, removal of the growth and some of the underlying muscle tissue. Now I have a beautiful skin graft about 1 1/4" in diameter, a scar under my upper arm about 7" long and four scars of other melanoma each of which is about 3 1/2" long on my chest and back! And of course I have about 250 stitches!If I had ignored them, I would have had a short life span! Do the best for your body -- and your family. FYI, the surgeries were done in two parts and are absolutely painless when the surgeon is done. Bad part -- I could not go body surfing on the Outer Banks the days after they removed the staples and bandages. The suave I had to use was Aquafor. Works good but you have to keep the wounds covered for a couple of weeks. Then the next year the scars tan out.

    Well considering I've heard you shitcan a 200+ year old axe manufacturer, and then talk about the way the poineers done it while using a chainsaw and excavator (of which they had NEITHER, they used steam engine powered sawmills like I've filmed), then maybe IT IS TIME to give modern homesteading a break. Just coz rich guys like yourself can afford the search engine optimization to give them massive amounts of subs and views, doesn't make you right. I would trust a manufacturer who has been in the business for over 200 years to know what they are doing over some rich guy who's been playing homesteading for a few years.

      As for beauty and fashion, your contact pot story reminds my grandad: it was about 50 years ago, my granddad wanted to make his kids laugh. He thought it would be fun to put up my grandma's make up while nobody is watching. Of course he had no idea how to use them, so he put the lipstick on his nails and the nail polish on his lips. He called the kids and naturally they broke out in laugh. So the plan worked, the kids laughed, but... After the pink nail polish has dried on his lips, it became like wall tiles that he couldn't remove for days. So inadvertently he made more people laugh than he wanted: the whole neighborhood. :)

But please, no hair care or make-up tips...

    The title suggested this is your last video? Uh, no it's not. Homesteading is only now becoming popular in my area of TN. I don't homestead, but watch almost every video you post. I subscribed because of the axe reviews and firewood info. Thanks to you I know more about axes than anybody around here. For spider and snake bites theres 3 top home remedies that ive learnt and have been passed down to me the first is the most modernized one using a spark plug wire on a vehicle hold it where you was bitten and crank over the vehicle a few time this will kill the poison. 2nd method is backing soda and white vinegar at first pour it over the bite liberally then make a paste using apple cider vinegar and baking soda apply to the bite and cover at least over night its best to change the bandage daily wash and clean the bite with straight white vinegar then rebandage with apple cider for 2-3 days until redness is gone. The 3rd is older which is to find a live milkweed plant break off a piece of it and rub the sticky nasty gooey milk onto the bite this instantly ease the pain and will prevent the poison from killing you instead you'll just get nauseous and a bit of upset stomach if it becomes infected find or buy some yellowroot (goldenseal) and either take it daily or apply the extract to the area of the bite to fight the infection natures natural antibiotic. ...***if youre allergic to ragweed or mold DO NOT USE THE GOLDENSEAL its in the ragweed and mold family!

    Western medicine is very good for acute problems, such as broken bones. Emergency room visits, that kind of thing. But as far as preventative medicine, it fails miserably.
    Alternative cures have been swept under the rug by mainstream medicine and the media yet they've been around for a very long time and they work. It's one of the reasons why I gave up television ten years ago...I got sick and tired of the BigPharma commercials.

    I definitely do not agree with this process. I am the wife of this viewer whom happens to love your videos. I am also a nurse in a dermatology clinic. This video worries me because you now have no way of determining if that mole has underlying melanoma. Which we all know is a fatal form of skin cancer. The proper way to remove a lesion is to see a doctor, have them remove the lesion and then tested to be sure it isn't cancerous. Thank you.

    First i must say I am NOT perfect with english, I am from Denmark. But here is my 50 cent on the subject. Well your idea about going into the fashion scene, is one of the worst ideas you ever got. I originally subscribed to your channel, only because you made some great videos about homesteading, restoring tools and so on. Then at some point it came into, to be more and more about GOD. Then I unsubscribe, since religion for me is something people either believe in or not, and if so, they find there own way. It is not something I personally want to watch, when I am looking for tool restoring videos and so on. I really hope you bring this channel back on track and do what you do best, and very good, MAKING homesteading videos, and STAY with that. You are the reason I build a workshop table for my kid, so we could spend more time together in my workshop. I realized he was not to young to be with me in the workshop (at that time he was 4 years) Since then we have made a lot projects together. With love and respect from Denmark.

      If you find the idea of God so absolutely devastatingly offensive that you can't even bear to watch an informational homesteading video for fear of the mere mention of the name of the Father, then you sir must be one intensely weak individual. What are you afraid of?! That you'll hear something that speaks truth to you and your situation? That you'll learn ways you can better serve your family and neighbors? That you'll find even better ways to raise your son?! Good grief! I've never met someone who was so terribly concerned about hearing someone speak of the Lord that they would completely and utterly avoid their content altogether, not only that but DEMAND they not speak of their faith while producing THEIR VIDEOS. The channel is on track, has never lost it's track, and is more on track than ever. If you're so afraid you might here some conviction in the words, you're free to find your information elsewhere, but I'd be cautious of what kind of example that sets for your now 6-7 year old son.

      Jeff Sims
      Oh dear Lord you sound just like a Catholic! And that's not a compliment by the way, not by any stretch of the imagination.
      I can't believe you have the nerve to call anyone an "intensely weak individual". If you truly were a man of devout faith that was interested in "better serving his family and neighbors" you'd know that God is not merely an "idea" and that he is very much real. And you would know that he is nonjudgmental and forgiving and always looking out for us whether we believe in him or not. You would also understand that what you just said was absolutely wrong and uncalled for. Even Catholics are taught to be somewhat tolerant of other people's beliefs. So why are you berating this poor guy? He never said anything about bad about your God or that he was even afraid of your God. He never said he had no religion he simply said that you either "believe in religion or you don't, if so, you find it on your own." Sooo, maybe just maybe, he does believe in God but not in the same way you do. Which is not wrong because HE STILL BELIEVES. If you've never met anyone else in the world who has avoided listening to someone publicly discuss religion then you are sadly a very sheltered individual.
      You stated that the channel: "is on track, has never lost its track and is more on track than ever." I must point out a contradiction here, since you are pompously knowledgeable. If the channel "has never lost its track" how can it be "more on track than ever"? That would suggest that the channel was in fact off track at some point. Typical of a Catholic. Always contradicting yourself.
      Faith and Religion go hand in hand but are two totally different things. You can have one without the other, both together or none at all. Faith is the collection of beliefs that are taught to us by our religion. And religion (all religions, I'm not just stabbing at Catholicism) is a typical tyrannical leader that says "do and believe everything I say no matter what. Or else."
      But in the end, we all share and place our faith with the same God. So maybe you should practice what you preach and be a little more tolerant of others. You just might find that you'll have the strength to "better serve you family and neighbors. And to raise better your kids."

    • @thorleifingsson3564
      @thorleifingsson3564 7 лет назад +1

      TCSwizz2, how interesting that you say God is nonjudgmental, would you please let us know which Bible passage you are referring to? Your statement that He is always looking out for "us" whether we believe in Him or not is also not something I find in my Bible. Ephesians 4:32 says "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." So, if God forgives us for CHRIST'S sake and not our own, doesn't it stand to reason that unbelievers are NOT forgiven but are yet dead in their sins?
      Christianity is not about religion, but about relationship with the Father, through the Son, neither of whom are in any way "a typical tyrannical leader". Try reading the book "Case for Christ" by Lee Stroebel, or there are many others. From a logical viewpoint examine the claims Christ and His direct apostles made... either He IS the Son of God as He claims, He was a crazy man, or a liar. The fact that so many who knew Him personally went to their deaths when by just recanting that they had seen the risen Christ they would have been spared, pretty much rules out the liar part... someone might lie for a friend to save their life, but to knowingly lie and hold on to that in the face of execution, when by just changing their story they could avoid dying that day? Illogical and I don't believe that 10 apostles all died for something they knew wasn't true.
      So, in the end, we do NOT all place our faith in the same God. Those who follow Jesus Christ follow the narrow path, the others do not. It's not about being tolerant... that's usually something progressives yell every day, how everyone else should be tolerant, and yet they never seem to follow their own rules on that. ;-)
      Following the Lord IS the best way to better serve your family, neighbors, and to raise your kids (in the fear and admonition of Him).

    Some man used food grade hydrogen peroxide and thought more would be better, it burned his stomach bad and the store that sold it took it down so now I have to get online.
    Bragg is wonderful, vinegar is powerful. Did those you know who removed moles, did it leave scarring or completely gone?

    • @kenbob8293
      @kenbob8293 10 лет назад +2

      to get food grade just buy supermarket stuff and freeze it solid, the water freezes and the peroxide is able to be poured off.

    • @rebelnut1
      @rebelnut1 9 лет назад

      Ken BOB Not even close, your gonna get someone sick or dead. The stuff that is added to store bought peroxide has stabilizers added to keep decomposition under control, which also happens to be a poison if ingested. Food grade peroxide does not have these toxic stabilizers... hence, FOOD GRADE, and will degrade much much faster than the stuff you buy from walmart.

      Thor214 I don't recall ever refuting a claim that it wasn't an oxidizer, or even wise or unwise? Maybe you can see more of my post than I can, maybe you have access to the alternate universe...
      Anyhow, although places on the internet say you can consume diluted quantities of Food Grade peroxide, which I don't recommend, it's generally used as a food disinfectant, my only point was, trying to separate the store bought brands chemicals without a science lab may get someone killed is what I was saying.... in this universe anyhow... But thanks for letting me know my alternate self is being an ass. Ill do my best to get a hold of him and correct that.

      I have been drinking Braggs unfiltered "raw" ACV for years as sort of a tonic with spring water and I am quite healthy for an old fella.
      Now removing moles with it, well, if the mole is suspect in any form that would require a biopsy for confirmation, I would (did) opt for surgical removal by a practicing dermotologist. All 3 were benign but I doubt that any sign of malignacy would still be present after soaking a mole in Braggs for a few days/weeks/ or longer? .........Just sayin'

      I use it, daily until the last year or so, now as needed, took a spoonful yesterday and puckered up, I believe it is very good for us and am grateful for Bragg ACV.

      wranglerstar That's the price, its not "fairy land" i've had it done. Big moles will probably cost you $200 and small beauty marks that only require a quick 30 second laser treatment will be much cheaper. (but still expensive considering how easy it is for them to remove them)

    Wranglerstar - making fashion advice videos???
    Seriously??? - Have you ever watched any of your own videos??
    Or even looked in the mirror while you are shaving???
    You will NEVER make it on the RUclips Fashion Scene !!!
    However, your explanation about how to apply the vinegar treatment is the one people should take note of - some stuff can really mess up your skin.
    My personal experience was with condy's crystals (permanganate of potash) when I was 6 to control a fungal skin condition on my leg.
    Instead of "wiping on, leaving for a minute then washing off with plenty of water", this clever idiot kid (me) soaked a lump of cotton wool in it and bound said cotton wool to his leg then went to bed.
    At about 2am my folks took a screaming kid (me again) to the local hospital and I still have the scar.
    So to everyone: take note of what happened to Cody and be super careful when putting anything on your skin.
    Once again, an informative video.
    Go Well

      Well, I don't know if anyone hit the secret faux pas yet, but one stood out for me right away. What kind of self respecting pioneer/homesteader/prepper, back to the lander would be caught dead with a corded electric drill in his hands???
      It's worse than baking a homemade apple pie and letting it sit in front of a window air conditioner to cool!!! That's just so un-American ....................

      I forgot the most important item that your "secret plant" lacked, a 250' outdoor grade extension cord to run the electricity from your solar generator through to drill your holes!! (Is there a smilie button here anywhere?)
      Note: I just jumped from Dave Canterberry's website to here on a link and probably should wait till I get the gist of the conversations here before opening my aged old mouth. I have eaten so much shoe leather in my years by using the airborne axehead* approach that my tongue develops mildew during highly humid days here on the FL Panhandle!!
