    One advise my esthetician told me is to only do chemical peels during the colder months or winter because if you do it around the summer and sweating a lot then it wouldn’t be as effective

    I love these peel videos for some reason. I do think you need to add or remove something from your regular skin care routine/make up routine. I used to have similar skin as yours. My skin would look better after a peel for a few months then I’d do another peel but I could never get perfect looking skin. I stopped using make up brushes, switched foundation, ate less dairy, changed my skin care products and my skin finally cleared up for good… I still get peels but primarily to improve my texture but the pigmentation, acne scars and malia bumps are gone.

    I've got some hyperpigmentation as well. I've been using glycolic acid recently and tbh it does look like it's helping to clear some of it up in a rather short amount of time (most products I've been using for 3-6 months). I encourage it. Just ordered some lactic acid as well. Ofc these are harsh ingredients so test it before you add it to your regimen

    I watched your chemical peel video 4 years ago and I wanted to try it so bad. My severe cystic acne resurfaced recently so I have a chemical peel Scheduled today in approximately 8 hrs! I’m so excited to try but also nervous. I have a corporate job and work at a clinic. We don’t wear masks no more. Scared that I’ll peel and ppl will judge or that my acne will purge. I’ll update after today

    I think I apologized like a year ago on different account. I was talking ish about you putting makeup on top of damaged skin. But ima say it again, I'm sorry for coming at you like that. Your skin is looking so amazing! I feel stupid for even thinking you couldn't fix it! On top of that you seem so chilled and sweet, I must have been drinking hateraid back then chile!😂

      Yeah… least you take accountability. I Always see obnoxious ignorant ppl talking shit about people with cystic acne and what they should and shouldn’t do. Like we don’t know how to take care of it?? Lots of the times it’s honestly beyond our control

    Thanks for documenting this! I'm in the middle of a VI Peel and watching videos to see what my next day will look like. I feel I have to point out for anyone watching that you need to put sunscreen on 15 minutes before you leave the house because it takes 15 minutes to actually start working. There was no sun protection happening in that car 😭. With a peel you have to be on top of that sunscreen! I'm wearing a hat, sunglasses and a thick layer mineral SPF 50 if I have to be out. Too scared to risk it. These results are fantastic though!

    • @greatgownsbeautifulgowns
      @greatgownsbeautifulgowns 4 месяца назад

      I agree with everything you said about the sunscreen.
      To piggyback off of your comment, l remember when I looked up information about possibly getting a chemical peel for myself and I came across a Quora post that is very helpful and gave me information that I wasn't aware of, because I thought if I got a chemical peel all I had to do is make sure I always put on sunscreen. I didn't get the chemical peel yet, but I am happy to have found that information.
      RUclips won't let you post links so you'll have to type this into Google:

      Yeah...at this point I think there needs to be more attention to what's causing the breakouts. The peels are just "masking" the underlying issue.

I’m going thru your channel, new here, and to see you still have acne, I was like I wonder what her diet is like? The food is in question now. So I would recommend a fast. The same as a peel, give yourself 10 days of just water & See how your skin looks. The body is magical. Try it

    So I appreciate you showing your chemical peel process very interesting but for me personally I wouldn't get this done for one I don't need it I just use a detoxifying charcoal or clarifying mud clay mask with an oil clear lemon extract facial cleanser that combination keeps my skin clean clear and healthy a chemical peel would ruin my skin and the overall appearance of my skin because it's just too harsh and abrasive for my skin type but this is a much appreciated informative video 😉

    You should first treat the cause of the acne not the symptoms, change of diet, eating healthy. Getting androgen blockers that cause the acne. The topical skincare. It irritates me when people treat the symptoms not the cause
