- Don't throw away your scraps! Here's an amazing sewing idea on how to use small scraps. I'll be using my leftover fabric to sew an easy fabric bowl (and very useful too).

Let's get scrappy! How cute is this??
There is something so satisfying about sewing scraps. My daughter-in-law sees chaos in my crumb and scrap blocks and I see fun in all the fabrics that shouldn' t work together but somehow do. I love the little scappy basket. Thanks so sharing.
agreed!
It can also be used in your car for small pieces of trash such as straw wrapper .gum wrapper. Ticket stubs. Loose change .etc etc. The ideas are endless
Yes! I love that 😍
You are so talented ! These little scrap projects you show us are so cute. Thanks for
sharing all your ideas with us, and Happy Quilting! Be sure to thank your cameraman
for the close-ups so we can actually see, that is so helpful.
Thank you! Cameraman Mike will be very pleased 😁
Wonky...wonky...wonky. Asymmetrical rules. Straight lines are boring. LOL Go for it, Sandy!
How can I achieve this by hand
You can do the exact same thing I did. Sew straight lines that catch two scraps of fabric and the batting and keep going until you've covered the entire batting rectangle. Good luck!
@@seweasybysandy it looks nothing like a machine
I'm with Mike...I need a bit of order in my chaos. 😂
I have to admit i'm team Mike 😂. But of course i love your wonky pieces, they are always beautiful ❤.
Mike is gloating right now 😁
Team Sandy 😂
Yeah!! 🥰
I'm on both teams, straight lines and wonky - both would be CUTE!
❤❤❤❤❤
That really is cute. I love it.
Love it!!! ❤️😀
Team Wonky Sandy!!!❤❤❤😊
Well ya know Mike can make "HIS" version and then WE ALL can vote which one we like !!! How's that for a new video ?? ✌🏻♥️
I like that!!! 😄
@@seweasybysandy 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love wonky
Love your sewing corner!❤
Thank you 😊
That is so 😍 but I would go 🤪 crazy with the way you keep your scraps in the bag. Mine are all folded" the strips" or put flat one onto the other.
I'm in a very difficult process of dealing with that. Plus, it gives a much more dramatic effect to pick them this way 😂😂😂
@@seweasybysandy 🤪🤪🤪🤪
sometimes I like straight, sometimes I like wonky, but I love scraps all the time, super cute, thank you
Wouldn’t it be better to put a piece of backing on so you can quilt it as you see?
I don't add the backongt when I'm making the top because I want to be able to hide the seams.
@@seweasybysandy If you did it flip and sew, you wouldn’t see the seams.
@@shirleynicolaides2810 I mean the seams of the basekt I made with this, not the patchwork seams.
Team Sandy!!!!
Yeah! 😁
I’m team Sandy I love asymmetric design. This is a lovely project! Thank you for sharing ❤
Yay! 😊
You are such a ray of sunshine Sandy! Adorable basket!
Thank you 🥰
