I bought a 2002 636 model back in 2018 for £1900 still using it!
I think this era of bikes looks the best, especially Kawasaki as they were into bold colors and graphics and colored wheels. Soon, they will take off in the collector market as the nicer ones get harder to find and more people realize how fun they are to ride and how nicely they are styled.
I 100% agree , I like newer bikes.. but you cant beat 2000’s I don’t think, I plan on owning a few different ones from this era !
Looking forward to the upgrades on this! Miss those roads, need to come down this summer
Can’t wait man ! She’s gonna be a beauty!
Yeah you need to crack on and get down here !!
I had a J1 and absolutely loved it - the only bike Ive regretted selling. Getting older Ive now got a zx4rr same thrills but not licence losing speeds.
I gotta a J2 and I love it, they’re a joy to ride
Had one 2001mod. Loved it grate little bike
I recognise this road 😊 Penzance way? I’m picking up my first zx6r this weekend and no doubt I’ll be around the area
Hi mate, yeah it’s the back road from st Ives to Penzance across badgers cross , great bit of road
I have the j1 and think it's great, I would recommend it .
I'd like a bit of a classic to stand next to me Suzuki B-King. I've looked at late 80's / early 90's Kawasaki ZX10's and GPX750R's. I have also looked at Kawasaki ZX9R 'B' Models. It's amazing what you can pick up for small money.
Would recommend it completely ! Proper old school analogue bikes, they’re brilliant! I’ll be keeping the zx6r for many years !
Can I ask what camera/mic setup you're using as it's great.
Just bought a j2. Collecting it Thursday 😊
Hi mate, so I use a GoPro hero 9 for video pov, and I’ve got a zoom h1n external recorder for the audio ! Thanks for the comment
I ve had it blue one 2001...Im gonna buy it again...2000-2002...God, help me to sit again on "ZEUS"...Akrapović change sound...Pitty, Yoshimura is dead...Good old fashion analog cockpit...Heaven...
I just fully restored a G2
I have that ZX6R and i like it it's a very good motorcycle, but the problem is the country where i live 😢 (i'm from El Salvador) there is no good technical services here and can't do a very good carburetor sync... To bad😒
Why don't you do it yourself?
Love it. what camara you using
Thanks mate , so I use the hero10 as my main, but I’ve got the hero 9 too
i think your off to pondarosa right i'm sure i ridden my 125 there and the road was just epic i need to do it again but i need a 125 first
Not too sure I’ve ever heard of that place?
I went from st Ives out to Penzance then onto the st just road , thanks
@@Murraymoto just look alot like it when you was going down a hill with the houses on the right hand side
first bike i ever owned right there brand new off the floor red one
Amazing that ! How did you find it? I’ve had multiple people down here say the same thing !
Can't wait to pass cause I've just bought the same bike
I'm looking to buy this as my first bike, would you recommend, I'm 28
100% , it’s a great bike , just look for the obvious things that’ve been done… brake calliper rebuilds , fork seals, chain and sprockets , the engine itself is solid as long as it’s Been serviced !
You won’t be disappointed , good luck!
@Murraymoto hi bud this is a great no-nonsense video. I'm looking to get one of these as my first bike. I'm an extremely seasoned track bike rider so I think I'll have a leg up on terms of confidence but I know there's still a learning curve. I'm 32, do you think it's a bad idea to get one? Bare in kind this is going to be a "luxury" hobby for me for summer only.
I still owe my 2001 ZX-9 !!!!
300 cc short 😂
Or 400 short .. or 300 over.. or 200 over.. depending on what model you go for.. thanks for the pointless comment
