I love my 2017 street rod. I have the same color as well. V&H slip on, K&N hi flow air filter with modified intake for even more air & a V&H FP3 w/ a custom tune. It’s so much fun to ride this bike & it sound awesome. Ride safe brother.
Hey man, I want to buy a Street Rod this year, but you don't hear or see much of them where i live. As a mechanic i heard pretty often that many Harleys aren't reliable (at least in comparison to the japanese bikes). Is that the case with the street rod? I already own a bike and ride around 10.000-15.000km's each year, never having any issues. I'd love to keep that safe feeling 😂
I love my one to I've heavily modified mind to but I couldn't find a k and n filter where did you get you're from the fine type i m after is that what you've got regards mike
I've had mind 2 and half years modified loads forward controls are amazing transform the ride lowered the back on black springs raised the front of the tank 2 inches full custom spray job, I love mine 2 I've had over 20 bikes and this is the one that makes me smile the most
Thanks mate … so far so good, super comfy seat, riding position once used to it is comfy, barely any vibrations through the bars or foot pegs, super good
At 120km/h it's vibrating actually. Didn't do a long trip yet but I don't think that's the most comfortable bike for long trips. Apart from that, the position is really very subjective so you should try and see if it would be suitable for you. Last point, this bike is 750 yes but it's plenty of power, plenty of sensations and the pops are amazing. I changed the tires to sports ones and it made lot of difference in handling and it gave me more confidence since they were sticking to the road more than the harder cruising tires. Enjoy 😉
I've been offered a swap for my triumph bonneville t100 for the exact bike you're riding. Haven't ridden one or actually seen the bike in the flesh. Never even sat on a HD. What do you think??
Hi mate .. that sounds great, if you’ve got the chance to ride it , I would 100% do that before you make any decisions , I bought this one without riding it from online but I genuinely love it , something about owning a Harley that just feels different ! Look forward to hearing what you do!
@@Murraymoto thanks mate. I'm in a right pickle as I'd never thought of an HD before. We'll see what's what. I'll pop to the local dealership and size one up. Will keep you posted!
Awesome channel. Im in somerset and spend a lot of time around the lizard and certainly recognise those roads! I have a black 2017 with V&H exhaust. Had it around a year. Put engine bars and sissy bar on for wife. Absolutely love it. First ever Harley as always had sports bikes over the last 20 years. Looking to trade in for a Sportster S some point this year! Keep up good work and stay safe. New subscriber here 👍🏼
Thanks a lot mate ! Ohh nice , I think they’re such an underrated bike ! My friends just traded in for a sportster and loves it ! I found when I went riding with him the street rod was as quick if not a little more which was surprising ! All grunt though aren’t they! Thanks for the sub, I’ll be sure to make it worth while! Hopefully ! Ride safe mate !
I’m just about to pick up a 2019 Street Rod. Looking forward to Harley ownership!

Is fuelpak needed? Changing just the slip-on is not enough?
@@jakubszczepaniak6845 it’s not needed but you will get a lot of pops and bangs from the exhaust. If you put a tune in it will help that.
