Ocean dub vegito sounds way too much like Sonic

- Obviously I do not own the character Sonic he is property of Sega and I do not own the voices they are property of the original oceandub for dbz
But anyways this is the first real animation I've made thats longer than like 5 Seconds and yes I noticed that it tends to glitch out that's because I had to add in the audio and I'm not used to doing that so it got a little corrupted in a few areas but I don't think that's too much of an issue, anyways I just hope someone got some amusement out of this.
The Ocean dub ended in the middle of the Ginyu Force, and then they had to switch to the modern English VAs.
This is from the Westwood dub, a sub of Z created in order to bypass Canadian laws that mandate air time for Canadian media. The voicework was still done by Ocean Group since it was always a Canadian company, hence why they still have the Ocean Dub actors.

Basically their thought process was essentially having Vegeta (Brian Drummond) do a Goku impression which is actually extremely creative
What an extreme coincidence, Sonic's early 2000s voice actor is called Ryan Drummond!
That's an interesting way to go about it. I like how they had the two voice actors say their lines in unison and layered the voices but having one voice actor do an impression of another for a fusion was a cool idea

I really like the approach for Vegito. Prefer the dual voice for Gogeta though.

@@ShinyLedyba Some dubs found it fitting to cast a person who sounded like a bridge between the Goku and Vegeta cast members. That's why Vegito (and Gotenks) didn't have the dual-speaking lines that other dubs sought to do.

@@gogetathestrongestfusion That's only his actual name if you're sticking strictly to the Viz English localization. The Japanese version addresses the two as Vegeta (Bejita) and Kakarotto hence Vegetto (Bejitto). Vegito is just Vegetto but written simpler, but none are necessarily _wrong_

Never heard Ocean Dub Vegito before. This was due to me living in the U.S. and over here (at least in my area) we got Episode 1 to when Goku was about to fight Burter and Jeice and that was it.

I honestly prefer the idea of Vegito and Gogeta having separate voices to Goku and Vegeta. They just overlay Goku and Vegeta's voices on top of each other, but giving the fusion their own really highlights the idea that Fusion actually creates a new person from two, and that Vegito and Gogeta would actually be independent from the two Sayians that made them
