On the very last move, you can escape for a clean finish. Break the double card, palm the extra, and to mask putting it back on the deck, pick up the entire deck. Then you can have the audience inspect the 8 cards left that were used for the trick.
This is the same routine I learned by Aldo Colombini. Aldo doesn't do the last count to show all reds. He just puts the black on top and shows they are mixed. Also you only need one EC. in it.
big fan of your work, thanks for all the tutorials. question: when you look down on the cards, how do you film this overhead angle? where do you place the camera ?
I made a 'behind the scenes video' a few months ago which you might like! I talk about how I get the angle for filming about 1 minute into the video, here's a link: ruclips.net/video/VVm6x81ATB0/видео.html Thanks for the support and question
1. CREDIT for this variant goes to Aldo Colombini. The routine is from his excellent book titled What's Up Deck. 2. The hesitation in your EC is really apparent. Also, the speed at which you execute the EC is too rapid. Slow down. 3. Getting a break was quite obvious; in this routine, you can easily achieve the same thing by holding two out. 4. During the two face-down phases, you can show TWO pairs of black and red cards being mixed. Just do it in an off-handed manner. 5. After you count the black cards in the EC on the final phase, leave the packet face up as per Aldo's instructions. 6. Your OD display is to fast. Get a better rhythm. Check either Marlo's or Giobbi's tips on this. When you were mixing the cards face up, you changed the way you placed the subsequent cards after the first red "card." That was a huge tell. 7. Back to your EC: the way you are executing it is outmoded because no one really counts cards that way. Remember what Vernon preached: "Be natural." Try learning Gary Ouellette's Paradise Elmsley from his book Cloe Up Illusions.
I love the tutorial, it at around 11:33, after I count the third card, it reveals a black card, so the trick is ruined. I have gone like five times, slowly, and am getting it wrong. What am I doing wrong ???
Tobias Der Zauberer that is where magic will die off in the future. Because people like you do not share. If the people in the past did not share their knowledge, I am sure you would not be a magician as well now do you? :D
Great tutorial! This is a good demonstration that a "simple trick" is actually quite many steps and includes a couple of risky moves.

Aren't magicians supposed to not tell the tricks? But that's ok it was awesome! Definitely subscribing
Everyone said that but people on youtube knew that the only way to keep magic alive is to share them. I agree with you tho but it need to be share
Lets be honest dude most people dont really like reading books or buying dvd for magic but isnt it still exposing magic?
Beside what i mean by only way to keep it alive is sharing them not by exposing it in yt. Doesnt mean everyone but just the people whos interested
I saw you get a pinky break and your double lifts in the performance
