- What is it like to drive the first gen Audi R8 over decade after its launch?
In 2019, Audi UK loaned me their newest R8 V10 Performance for a week - I wanted to go back in time and experience what the first generation V8 R8 manual was like and to appreciate what a revolutionary car this was, and where the latest generation of R8s have evolved from.
This was also my first experience driving a gated manual, something which took a little time getting my head around.
