John has always been slime but Stern has always been such a narcissist, never wanted anyone to ever make a nickle with his name, a ton of the people that worked for Stern were either unpaid interns or paid next to nothing, John revealed at the peak of his time on Stern he was only making about 40k, that's quite a salary for working in NY. The worst part was Howard always screamed about how he's the boss, how "you're fired! "this one's fired" etc etc but whenever it came time to negotiate money , he suddenly wasn't the boss and "everyone makes their own deals with Tom"

Firstly I should say that in this particular case Howard has a point because John really does have zero talent and his association with the Show was the only reason he got work outside the Show, but... I have never known somebody try and take credit for the careers of others like Stern does. Literally every single person who worked on the Show and went on to do something with their lives only did so because of Howard in his deluded mind. Billy West has more talent in his toes than Howard has in his entire contorted body. Howard owes the people around him for making the show a success as much (and more) than they owe Howard.
I don't think Howard got a tenth of the offers to be on TV shows, and movies as he said he does. It was all bravado to make him seem like a big, desirable man.

Promoting the appearance = not funny at all. Roasting John about it relentlessly = classic radio. In the k-rock days Artie got Jackie's job with salary, part of that salary was plugs for his shows. Going to Sirius Artie wasn't plugging like Jackie did, he would throw it in as a joke to piss Howard off and make him laugh. I have never known somebody try and take credit for the careers of others like Stern does. Literally every single person who worked on the Show and went on to do something with their lives only did so because of Howard in his deluded mind.
Billy West has more talent in his toes than Howard has in his entire contorted body. Howard owes the people around him for making the show a success as much (and more) than they owe Howard.

I hate the phrases some of these stern people say over & over. John always says " let me ask u a question " just ask the question! Howard always says quite frankly over & over. Artie started saying it all the time too. Gary also says " let me ask u a question or can I ask u a question " john is gross. During the aj benza fight he dressed horribly for work. He had his shaggy long hair a dude wheres my car sleeveless shirt flip flops & grey sweat shorts. How do u not take a little pride in ur work. He also doesnt clip his toe nails that they were like claws over his flip flops. He just looks like he smells

I don't like stuttering John, but the jealousy that takes hold of Howard every time a staff member makes a tv appearance, is pathological. With Artie he tried to disguise it by congratulating him sometimes, but he couldn't hide that it burned him up, it's very obvious.

Gary bragged about buying a new kitchen with his weekend gigs. John did comedy, had his "band", got a record deal and appearances on weekends, Scott would do his dj thing, Fred has always had a band, most people would never know this. It's just "Howard kept them down"
In the k-rock days Artie got Jackie's job with salary, part of that salary was plugs for his shows. Going to Sirius Artie wasn't plugging like Jackie did, he would throw it in as a joke to piss Howard off and make him laugh. If you ever saw the old on demand shows watch Arties eyes when he throws a plug in

Stuttering John, the hilarious writer/comedian best comeback to the caller saying he sucks is calling him a “jackass” in an unfunny voice and bragging how much money they gave him. Artie or any other real comedian would bury that guy with something so much funnier and without even really trying. Naturally funny people are that quick and always prepared. It’s so not funny every thing John has to say when he’s trying to. I wish everyone who sees him do standup would just boo him off the stage because the fake, mercy laughs that people give him really went to his head. He can’t tell people being nice and saying good job are them just being kind and can’t distinguish mercy laughing for them feeling sorry for him. He’s the worst.
The audio is terrible.
Some of the Older Audio is a little bit Harsh but I look at it like it’s still better to have something than nothing....I’m sure I could improve the audio on those older clips some but that just isn’t a priority for me, my main thing is trying to put content out, & only the old Audio that is (30yrs old) is bad lol
