If you listen to his broadcasts, he doesn’t seem like the worst guy, but you can easily see how back in the day he would’ve been a total puppet who would have bleeped tons of shit in a ridiculous fashion while working for K-ROCK. He actually recorded a little segment about his experiences working for Howard as the guy in charge of the button. I think he was honestly a decent dude caught between a rock and a hard place. But at the same time some of his censoring choices seem awfully conservative
So was Andre at KROCK or WYSP where the show was broadcasted on Philly pushing the button. I know Steve Trevelese worked the Philly show. Who I’ve become friends with much later in life, it was the oddest thing seeing the face to the voice I listened to for years. I was hanging out with Bob Levy and he introduced me, I was starstruck! Lol

He could have done the show he wanted if he moved it to late night but he knew that the time slot he had was when most people listened to the radio. It seems fair to me that certain topics are not appropriate for that time in the day and I'm about as against censorship as it gets but it is common sense.
