Definitely one of the greatest anime kills of ALL time. Instead of "pulling a shounen anime" and using overpowered abilities the character didn't have before to win, Rohan used the world around him, Koichi Hirose behind him, and Cheap Trick's Ability to effectively checkmate the enemy. That victory speech and ending was one hell of a badass moment as well.
One of the reasons I really like jojo! I mean occasionally they still pull the new ability thing, but most fights are just them using their same abilities in new and creative ways to win.

That's one of the best parts of JoJo's bizarre Adventure. So many of the fights are unorthodox fights between crazy powers, and a bunch of the fights are won because someone thinks their way through them. It's not always that someone is stronger that wins the fight. it's often that someone exploited a weakness or created an opportunity via creativity.
Ah yes Morioh is definitely not weird at all, you got a man with a hand fetish killing more people for hands, you got an ally that pulls you into hell if you turn around, the sky is always abnormal colors, there is a whole bunch of stand users with odd abilities, and at least one wholesome stand that makes good food.
Jokes of Heaven's Door aside, it does seem to have an interesting analogy on demonic possession. Constantly tempting it's victim to the point of insanity, but will ultimately the offending demon will burn in hell for it since it was barred from Heaven, the only other option.

It's really unclear if a Stand is actually someone's soul, or a projection of it. Automatic Stands can be fully destroyed without harming their User, though, so it seems closer to projection. It's possible that Cheap Trick CAN'T go to hell, but will simply cease to exist one outside of the physical world.
Captain Doomsday that's true like the stand Anubis, his user died a long time ago so he became a independent stand but needs a host to wield the sword. Or like neferpitou from hunter X hunter, before they died, they summoned their ability to control to make them fight even after death but the effects worn off once the body is no more.
Perhaps the Automatic Stands have their own soul since they appear to be sentient. Most Stands are operating on instinct at best, following the subconscious desires of their users. For instance, Star Platinum has acted on its own to protect Jotaro but it's clearly not sentient.
He does. He just wasn't alive in order to use it. It's a stronger version of Joseph's Hermit Purple (which apparently is Hamon's Stand, not necessarily just Joseph's). Remember that scene where Dio uses purple vines to track the protagonists in Part 3? That is Jonathan's Stand.

What I love in Araki writing for characters and Stands is that he implements so many things that he love into them. Like this scene. Cheap Trick (the band) has a song called "Surrender" and they sing sthing like this: "Surrender... But dont give yourself away". And it blew my mind cause Rohan Surrendered. He did what he was told. He did show his back to a person. But he didnt gave himsekf away. Didnt lose his mind in this absurd situation without logical way out. He found a way to defeat and come out victorious.
Guys...can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that Rohan, after realizing the predicament he was in, managed to stay calm enough to think of a simple yet effective solution? Just like what a manga protagonist would do.

Honestly Heaven's Door would be an overwhelming stand for someone obsessed with power. Rohan doesn't want to change the world, he simply wants to observe it. He's like a "naturalist." Because he wants to document the world, rather than form it in his image, it's okay for him to have a stand that can change things so fundamentally, because he wouldn't abuse that power, where others would be driven to madness by it.

So many of the fights are unorthodox fights between crazy powers, and a bunch of the fights are won because someone thinks their way through them.
It's not always that someone is stronger that wins the fight. it's often that someone exploited a weakness or created an opportunity via creativity.

Jokes of Heaven's Door aside, it does seem to have an interesting analogy on demonic possession. Constantly tempting it's victim to the point of insanity, but will ultimately the offending demon will burn in hell for it since it was barred from Heaven, the only other option.

Are we just gonna ignore the fact that Rohan has probably had the most near death experiences out of all the duwang gang, or even all of jojo, he even has one of the most op stands, yet he somehow loses almost every battle he's been in.

It's really unclear if a Stand is actually someone's soul, or a projection of it. Automatic Stands can be fully destroyed without harming their User, though, so it seems closer to projection.
It's possible that Cheap Trick CAN'T go to hell, but will simply cease to exist one outside of the physical world.
Captain Doomsday that's true like the stand Anubis, his user died a long time ago so he became a independent stand but needs a host to wield the sword. Or like neferpitou from hunter X hunter, before they died, they summoned their ability to control to make them fight even after death but the effects worn off once the body is no more.
Perhaps the Automatic Stands have their own soul since they appear to be sentient. Most Stands are operating on instinct at best, following the subconscious desires of their users. For instance, Star Platinum has acted on its own to protect Jotaro but it's clearly not sentient.
He does. He just wasn't alive in order to use it. It's a stronger version of Joseph's Hermit Purple (which apparently is Hamon's Stand, not necessarily just Joseph's). Remember that scene where Dio uses purple vines to track the protagonists in Part 3? That is Jonathan's Stand.

What I love in Araki writing for characters and Stands is that he implements so many things that he love into them. Like this scene. Cheap Trick (the band) has a song called "Surrender" and they sing sthing like this: "Surrender... But dont give yourself away". And it blew my mind cause Rohan Surrendered. He did what he was told. He did show his back to a person. But he didnt gave himsekf away. Didnt lose his mind in this absurd situation without logical way out. He found a way to defeat and come out victorious.

Honestly Heaven's Door would be an overwhelming stand for someone obsessed with power. Rohan doesn't want to change the world, he simply wants to observe it. He's like a "naturalist." Because he wants to document the world, rather than form it in his image, it's okay for him to have a stand that can change things so fundamentally, because he wouldn't abuse that power, where others would be driven to madness by it.
@@AudreysKitchen his personality shape the stand's power so i don't think heaven's door can belong to someone who abuse it's power like that. (Unless it gets stolen like with the rock paper scissors kid ability but that is a different story)
