I must have missed it on my first look, but I always check the shelves a second time, and I was SO glad I did. There is was, at the bottom of a stack just waiting for me. I couldn't get it in the cart fast enough! Lets go thrifting and find out what it was!

Its a blustery Friday afternoon and I am at the Goodwill at Rainbow and Alta. I hadn't been to this location in a while so, equipped with my reuseable shopping bags and Thrifting Vegas blanket I was excited to see what I could find. I found treasure in almost every aisle and my cart filled up fast. There were a few things I picked up, then looked up online comps and decided to leave behind, so thrift with me and learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. Yes, you can see the little slot for a power cord on one side. Probably just a single bulb went in the hole.
That’s precisely what I was thinking when you picked it up to examine it. A lamp or a light fixture for a candle, flame or battery.

I was at Goodwill last Wednesday and found a fun rooster wall plate that I was planning to hang in my chicken house. After I posted it on Facebook, my friend pointed out that it was a Quimper pottery piece. Needless to say, I won’t be hanging it in my chicken house.

Really enjoy watching you find those special items...it is actually therapeutic for me as I love to thrift for vintage but it is increasingly difficult for me due to years of terrible chronic pain and I was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's...My husband and I load up our walkers and go to nearby thrift shops when we can...There is something good in every category of the store and you can always learn about new things...I always include scarves, linens, embroidery kits and toys such as vintage my little pony...you might just be surprised what you can find...Thank you...I can tell you love what you do..

Hi 👋 dear when you see the little indentation on the bottom of a ceramic, it’s made to run a light cord so the item will sit flat. The big white SHELL with all the holes in it, is a light. 😊 Thx for your videos 😊 I love watching you shop lol.

Me too, with the exception of Misty, of Thrifter Junker Vintage Hunter, I've stopped watching most videos the last few months. I just got tired of some of the drama on some of them, especially the Las Vegas ones, I'm happy that Tiffany didn't get involved. 😊

I was in the same Goodwill just before you. I am sorry to have missed the serving fork and spoon. I thought of you today as I was in a different Goodwill, when I found some AMAZING 70s Demby pieces. I really never would have picked them up, but I've learned from you, that they can have some value. It's the Arabesque pattern...the coffee pot, eight mugs, salt and pepper, cream and sugar, butter dish, and eight dinner plates and bread plates. Such a beautiful pattern...might start collecting it for myself.

Hi Steven, lovely find! Denby Arabesque has a special place in my heart. My cousins and I ate of it when I was growing up in England. My Aunt and Uncle received the whole set as wedding gifts in 1967 and used it for many, many years! 😃❤️

The seashell you found with all the lil holes in it is like a night light. A light on a cord goes inside it and it can be turned on. Shows up with a lot of lil light spots on the walls and ceiling.There is an indent on the bottom where the cord of the light would go so it will sit straight.

HI Tiffany. I think that white shell with the holes in it might be meant to be some sort of table light. The hole in the bottom I think is for the light bulb to go into; and there is a notch at the end on the bottom that I believe is meant to accommodate a cord. That is just my guess. : )

Sadly, my Goodwill is priced even higher! I was so excited because I found a moon & star candy dish without the lid at my Goodwill the other day. It had a big chip on the base & they still were asking $39.99! I literally gasped out loud & then laughed. I think I even said something not so nice out loud. I walked out after that & I won’t be back. My Goodwill’s have lost their minds.

* The rolling pin is for German Springerle cookies. The lines are cutting lines, & the original cookies sat out overnight to dry so they would puff into pillows. They tasted of Licorice when the dough was rolled in Anise seeds.. The rolling pin was only used to impress the Design, Not to roll dough for other purposes..

Our phones play hell getting a connection inside Goodwill stores. Not sure if it's by design but it's really hard to look things up around here. Often I have to send hubby up to the front of the store lol
There's a Savers in my area where you can only get a signal in 1 small spot near a door they don't use. On a busy day a bunch of people are huddled together trying to find their items on their phones, lol. It does keep employees off their phones so maybe it's on purpose. I was at Goodwill recently, 6 of 7 employees stocking shelves were texting.

It looks like GW has raised their prices a lot where you are, almost at the resale price. Resellers are not going to be buying as much obviously. Will they even notice?
The bridal basket stamp is EPNS, electro-plated nickel silver. Only worth anything if it is antique...which this one appears to be.
