I was so excited to have my Mum and my daughter Miley join me for this thrifting trip to my favorite Goodwill. It was early evening and not very busy so we had lots of freedom to explore the shelves. On our walk back to the hard goods section, we talk about how to tell glass from crystal. Mum, Miley and I had so much fun, especially when my Dad arrived and took Miley for a dance along the aisles! Between us we found lots of treasure... Thrift with us for some unexpected items, learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. The vintage brown wood appetizer board is really a men’s dresser caddy. The different spaces are for your pens, keys, wallet, jewelry and coins from a man’s pockets. Sat on top of the dresser. My dad always had one.

There are so many likable characteristics about your parents but one of my favorites is their sense of humor! I’ve always believed in the “medicinal” quality of humor for both staying young, or restoring youth, as the case may be.
I love seeing that your parents are visiting for such a long time! It says a lot for the congeniality, and love, of everyone involved. I have an idea that your parents may stay in their Sprinter. Hello Judith and thank you! I agree, "laughter is the best medicine!" Actually, my parent's home is in CA but just after Miley was born they bought a condo close to us in LV. Since then, they have been visiting us regularly and staying in their condo. Of course, Miley and Jake often ask to sleepover there too!!
Well, I know that they hadn’t been seen in a while after their visit over the Christmas Holidays. I thought they were in Huntington Beach, I didn’t know they had an option to stay in their own home while in Las Vegas. The Sprinter would be a super choice for me. This information about your parents only endears me to them all the more!
Your husband remains the mystery person of your family. Is he native to Las Vegas? He should give us a tiny bit of his background if he would be so kind.
This is a comment about Reo and Bear after seeing them play in the snow. Reo is fast catching up to Bear and will shortly be passing him in size. From the beginning of when you were choosing a female German Shepard, I could see her paws were bigger than those of Bear’s as a puppy. That’s how I know the eventual size of a dog in a comparison. The two seem to be such good pals. 😊 Your fans can’t wait to see the two GS’s frolic in Navaho Lake on your upcoming vacation. If that’s your plan for 2023. ❤🎉❤
We are also thinking that Rio will eventually be larger than Bear but I believe in her mind he will always be her "big brother!" There will be footage of the two of them in Navajo Lake in an upcoming video, we're looking forward to being there! 😀❤️🐾

Hi there, in beautiful Italy, and thank you so much for thrifting along with me! I have a similar rough surface garlic plate, I love that there's no need to remove the skin on the clove before grating and I always wet the plate first with olive oil or soy sauce etc., depending on what I'm making. The pear jar u passed up when u picked up that little otter, can be worth a lot! I bought a pear cookie jar for $65. The pear things can be super expensive. I love pear decor. I love the glass fruits and vegetables and even the decor plates you hang on the racks. They’re more popular than one may think. Keep an eye out!

I believe the picture you are referring to is a Home Interiors piece. Yes, 1970s, and EVERYONE had one! But not me! Didn't want the same pictures everyone else had!
The key balls were sold in all sizes, hand made in India, about 7-8 years ago in TJMaxx and Homegoods. I bought one from there at the time. :)

Your pitcher is called Delaware glass. I have one exactly like it EXCEPT the body of mine is green and all the raised parts are painted gold. It has been passed down through the family from my great aunt who died in the 1930s, so it is at least 100 years old. I also have found several matching pieces and together they make a lovely display!

The Liberty Bell bank may be from the Liberty Trust Company. I'm from Cumberland, Md which is not too far from Harrisburg, PA do it could be part of a "chain". The Liberty Trust Co in Cumberland was always giving away Liberty Bell figures or Liberty Bell banks as promotions.
