I'm a total noob to leather and found it difficult to get a consistent bevel with a hammer, so I made a bevel head for my swivel knife to make a smooth and continuous edge. Not sure if it's correct but worked well for me. Thanks again for your tutorial videos!
Ooo that's an interesting hack I've never heard of. Getting a consistent bevel takes a lot of practice. I think a lot of beginner leatherworkers get hung up on what's "correct" (I know I did). Especially because it seems like there are 100 different answers to every question. In my opinion if it works for you it's not wrong!
This is awesome, wow!
Thank-you!
The Valar really stepping up their Anti-Morgoth protections, huh? Making ya sign in at the gate and everything 😅
There is evil there that does not sleep 😆
