  • This is a video review of the Die-Cast 4-Slice Smart Toaster from Breville I saw it on the shelf at a local retail and it immediately caught my eye. It's beautifully designed and fits with the rest of my kitchen appliances perfectly.
It makes perfect toast and pop tarts every time thanks to it's really cool "Auto Lift and Look" plus "a bit more" button There's also a Bagel setting so it knows to toast only on the inside.
With it's sleek, modern, brushed die-cast aluminum in smooth lines it looks great in my kitchen. Extra-wide slots for artisanal breads, bagels, and pastries.
Front pull-out crumb tray for no-lift cleaning. If you're a technology guy like me and appreciate smart features packed in a beautiful design, I'd highly recommend this toaster.

Went to show my dad the new toaster I bought him as a gift. Thanks for telling him how much I paid. Feeling super classy right now.

@TheCmdrRaven Yes, they do! You can see them countdown in the video too... but it probably could have been more clear. :)

I bought this toaster 15 months ago and the right side (2 slots) suddenly stopped working one morning for no reason; about a month later left side started going berserk , lights on the left side started blinking and toast started lifting up and down non stop, I tried to unplug and re-plug but problem persisted. I called Brevillle and the representative told me they don't repair nor exchange ANY of their toasters after warranty, the only thing she said she could do is offer me a 20% rebate on my next Breville purchase (!). You can be sure I will buy from another company next time I'm not happy this toaster cost me a lot of money for the time I used it. VERY deceived! :-(

Where's the toast test? Toast a slice of white bread and let's see how evenly it toasts.

Can we put sandwich rack/basket like kitchen aid proline 2 slice in this machine or can put two small bread like in your video in one slot by stuffing a little like sandwich?

Hey there... just wondering, will the LED progress bar automatically descend to indicate the time remaining in the cycle? I like to see at a glance the time remaining until it's finished.

I don't think that Chadians would like a toasted slice of Wonder bread.
Your little fact about Chadians living on 5 dollars was interesting but wholly wrong, as in most societies there are wealthy Chadians and there are poor Chadians, just like there are wealthy Canadians and there are poor Canadians.
You call the owner of the toaster Pretentious yet you know nothing about him. Now that's pretentious!
