Surf Perch Fishing Humboldt County

A recent short trip up the coast to a great local spot for surf perch fishing in Humboldt County. With the regulations of California being 10.5" we havent had much luck in the past filling the cooler. Super pumped we were finally able to get into the fish and let the pups roam the beach.

Great video. I'm hoping to get up there ( from Placerville) after the July 4 holiday. Are there any mole/sand crabs up there? Was wondering if they live that far up the coast.

There are sand crabs. To be honest ive never had much luck with them though. However i know people do. Best thing ive found is the fake little berkley worms
