just wrapped up my second state Mid-Am, and made the cut after two days shooting 79-76, Day 3, got paired with two legitimate sticks who shot 71 and 77, its actually an insult that riggs tries to say hes a 4. the level of golf this week that was played (the whole field) was elite, and this guy wouldnt come within 10 shots of the cut

4 handicap means playing his best he would be 4 over. They changed how handicaps are done a couple years back, & it was a mistake. I miss the traditional handicap system.

Idea for a video....
Basically a 3 man scramble against itself.. (try to beat a score like shoot better than 10 over as a team)
The catch: the team can pick who hits which ball after all 3 balls are hit.
i.e.:
1) Everyone tee off
2) Depending on where each ball is, the team picks which player will hit each ball
(if a ball is in a bunker, pick the best bunker shooter on the team, and he hits that ball)
3) Do that every time the team completes a stroke.
4) Keep doing this until all balls are in the hole.
This could also be fun as a 2v2 scramble, but do it the opposite.
1) all 4 players tee off
2) each team assigns the OTHER teams players to shots
(here, pick the worse bunker player to hit a bunker shot to try to add strokes to the opposing teams score)
3) compare scores at the end of the match!
This video will show you why Riggs won’t play anyone in stroke play, always match play even when he’s playing a higher handicapper …
