  • Flight review and trip report of Air New Zealand flight NZ252 from Melbourne (MEL/YMML) to Wellington (WLG/NZWN) on Friday 6 May 2022 at 12:25pm, with a flight time of 3h 35m. I was in seat 11F of an Airbus A320neo (registration ZK-NHA).
    I went to Melbourne for work for a couple of days, and this is the flight I took to get home! I had a bit of a drama at checkin. And as I was reading about the new A320neo I learned a bunch of things about how they differ from the older A320 aircraft, and I share what I have learned in this video.
    In-flight meal review and general flight observations. Includes full landing footage.

    I, once again had the privilege to fly with David Briggs as the Inflight Manager a few days ago. Absolutely a beautiful person. What customer service should be! He added to the standard announcement with a touch of fun. I thought I recognised that "If you are suffering social media withdrawal symptoms" announcement!

    We're still giggling over here in Berlin. Dude, this was great! "When will this flight review end?" "oh yeah, right about now" pause; end. We're _dying_! The tomato juice! Hey! How did you get this song with no words?

    • @SupersonicKiwi
      @SupersonicKiwi  Год назад +1

      There's a type of music called 'Production Music', and depending on where you license from and the specifics of the track, you can get a few different versions of a track (generally one had vocals and then there's two or three versions without vocals), and sometimes you can get stems, which is each 'instrument' in a seperate file (sometimes a stem file will have a group of instruments and be called 'brass' or 'synths') which lets you make your own mixes - this is what I mostly do, as that way I can make the music more or less 'busy' or powerful under different parts of the video. I can also change the tone of the music through using only some stems. For instance, in this video I used a single stem under the part where I'm talking to the woman who fixed my booking to make it a bit more brooding, but once she sorted it I changed the stems to a couple that are high and bright to reinforce the change from 'potentially bad news' to 'yay, it's all good news'. I hope this is useful!

      @@kiwiflyernz This one is from West One Music, and it's called Still Cool. Production Music licensing is a bit of a Pfaff, as you need to get a production music number from APRA (assuming you're in Australia or New Zealand) and then you register your licensing with them and they invoice you, and although the music is amazing, it's a bit spendy. I have used FilmStro for a couple of videos, but I can't get the hang of it (but I know other creators love it), and am just trying Epidemic Sound, which seems quite good, but I'm only just starting with them - both have a fixed cost per month for unlimited usage on a single channel.
