      @@sam_c95 How do you mix up Michigan and Maine with all of the other "M"s?

    • @sam_c95
      @sam_c95 3 года назад +1

      @@KubickQ Because they also begin with M? I've now learnt all the states and where they are, but only recently. Before, they all meant the same thing to me, and for most states that was nothing. I didn't know where most were or anything about them, which makes them all very forgettable. 50 arbitrary names is a lot to learn, they blur into one, and if they start with the same letter they blur even more. Generally before, if someone said "I visited Michigan" to me all that would translate as is "I went to a state beginning with M" but I would’ve been hard-pressed to remember which.
      For me, 50 element symbols or 50 ASOIAF Targaryen characters may be a lot easier than for you for example, because these are things relevant or interesting to me.
      As of this year, Michigan means a bit more to me since their news with intruding government buildings, and plots to kidnap the governor, and their important role in the election. Even now, literally the only thing I know about Maine is it's the one in the top right and I think a singer I like was born there.
