- We explored the south end of Hunting Island, SC. We found the beach erosion and "boneyard" fascinating and all of the tide pools with the sea life. We always catch and release and try not to harass the wildlife too much. The beach erosion has taken quite a few trees as well as an old road that once ran along the lagoon. You can still see (for now) some of the old roadbed and pipes along the beach. We found fish, crabs, shells, clams, and unknown sea life. It was definitely worth checking out and seeing before nature sweeps it all away one day. Hope you enjoy, thanks for watching.

I’m going in September. Can’t wait. Gonna visit a few places near by too.
It's a pretty place for sure. Hope you have a great time!
isn't this the area they completely removed the bone yard and planted sea grass. I was told all the trees are gone, I hope this is not true, it was a beautiful area to see. Thank goodness I have pictures of this place.
Goodness, I hope that's not the case either. It was a beautiful area.
