    The power of measuring and indexing. . . Very common skills for woodworkers, until now I have not seen them applied to paper crafting. Well done, Fantastic!!

    5 years later and you are still educating :) I recently bought the WRMK Tab punch board and couldn't work out how to make evenly spaced out dividers. Thank you very much Rosie's Art Studio. I'll be watching it again :)

    you are a great teacher, and it helped me figure out an easier way to get the tabs done. using a piece of scrap paper the size of your wanted page and accordion fold. each crease is used as the center mark. i have only done this for the small tab and it worked beautifully for a 4x5.5 sheet . thank you for the inspiration!

    Thank you for making this video available. I have watched it once and will watch it again tomorrow make templates and work through it with you and take notes to remind me for if I should forget. The WRMK videos available to promote the Tab Punch Board are unimaginative and very basic by comparison to yours. Cheers ... Janet (from Western Australia).

    Great tutorial. What if you don't want the tabs to overlap as shown in the video? I still want the tabs to be evenly spaced but with space between the tabs. How can I do that correctly?

    • @RosiesArtStudio
      @RosiesArtStudio  6 лет назад

      Measure how wide the tab is and how wide the paper is and divde the width of the tab by the width of the paper. In other words, if a tab is 1” wide and your paper is 5” wide, you can not have more than 5 tabs. More tabs would cause it to overlap.

    This is a great video and exactly what I've been looking for, but I'm having a hard time calculating the spacing on my paper bc it's for a happy planner size page (measurements are 7 x 9.5). I've been racking my brain on and on and still no luck. Would you be able to help me calculate this, please?

    I'm sitting here trying to figure out how and why it works out that you make along a hypotenuse of a right angle of some randomly arrived upon length. Without meaning to sound nerdy, can you explain why this works out?

    • @RosiesArtStudio
      @RosiesArtStudio  5 лет назад +1

      Essentially, by creating the diagonal line, you are changing the length of the paper to a number that is easily dividable for the number of segments that you need to create your tabs.

    Hi Thanks for an awesome video. Very easy to follow. One question though? What size is the paper that you punch out the tabs on. This is for an A5 planner. Correct.
    Thanks

    • @RosiesArtStudio
      @RosiesArtStudio  7 лет назад +2

      Thank you for your kind comment. I am glad that you found the instructions easy to follow. It's been awhile, but I believe I demonstrated for an A5 planner which would be 8.25" X 5.75". But, this method will work for any size page.

    I would love to know how to apply this to B6 size paper. And if you cut the tabs right into the paper would you make the divider wider than B6 to accommodate for the tab when you trim it? I’m so confused

    • @RosiesArtStudio
      @RosiesArtStudio  7 лет назад +2

      Yes...you would have to make your divider wider by the width of the tab. So, whatever the width of the B6 is, add the width of the tab to that measurement. I hope this helps.

    It would be great if you can make a video from the very beginning you kind of start off halfway through and it's very confusing it's not obvious how you made the tablet or how you came to make the tablet and also if you could put pointers on how to make folders for different sizes except for the 8 1/4
