How does Lauren only have 4k subs? Videos are great and informative, especially for new fish keepers

Slow and steady wins the race?
Funnily enough when I started this channel my completely non-serious goal was to catch up to the 'keeping fish simple' lad... I have a looooong way to go!

CPDs are still my favourite fish of all time. Though Pygmy corys and blue-eye rainbows are right near the bop as well!
Celestial Pearl Danios are the funniest little things to watch early in the morning when the lights come on.

Hi Lauren, thanks for your videos. I just (today!) got myself two Red Honey Gourami for my new 40L tank, largely thanks to your videos! See ruclips.net/video/-A2lKM5OIBM/видео.html ...they seem to have settled remarkably quickly.

I've had a lot of trouble keeping gouramis and kuhli loaches. I'm suspecting it's the tight lid hampering gas exchange in the planted tank and my pH levels are raising over time. I'm seeing if a cheap CO2 kit will help to balance this out. Removing the lid is not an option with small children and cats in the house

I'm very sorry if this has been asked before, but what do you use to film your tanks? Are you using a dslr or are you using a phone with one of those macro lenses? As always great video :)

Heyo! I use a DSLR, its a cannon 200D, which I like because they can be manually focussed which you need for fast moving fish.

What is your experience with cpd’s and honey gouramis in one tank? I have a 100 liter with 2 male honey’s. Each with their own corner in the tank, sometimes flaring and coloring up great (I have the deep brown/red variety) I’m hesitant to add cpd’s aa they may disturb the peace.

I've kept dwarf gouramis with ember tetra and I think they're comparable in size difference and temperament. The tetras or CPDs should be far too speedy for the gouramis anyway

100% agree, my gouramis live with celestials and the two species have never had any troubles with each other

Hi Lauren. My eagle eye spotted the aggressive red tailed shark in that aquarium. You probably know everything about it but be careful with them. They get super aggressive and fairly big.

Hey.... yeah, he was a very impulse buy (which is very naughty and i promise never to do it again) as i felt sorry for him in the shop looking all beaten up by bigger sharks. He's going to live in with the barbs who like chasing and being chased :D.
