@@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks! That's what I thought too. I called Forest River, and they also strongly advised against driving with a full tank of fresh water in the tank. You're a real asset!
This is an excellent question. A Smaller air unit is likely all this camper would need, but interestingly these more powerful air units are less expensive to huge volume brands like Rockwood due to the huge purchasing volume they already have on units like this. A smaller unit, while still likely sufficient, would likely cost more. Additionally, not enough folks have a proper understanding of A/C units vs. RV size and shop simply based on the premise of "biggger is better"
This is not an extra tall camper. Very few producers of small campers build tall campers. They are usually targeting a specific size/weight mark. There are a handful of brands that build with 6'9" Interiors and precious few with a 7ft interior such as Jayco's Eagle HT series.

I’ve camped considerably off the grid and there are certain things I’ve come to learn, and how certain amenities make that adventure easier, especially if your a sportsman.
I love this exact model, floorplan, features. I’m literally looking for this exact one, without the oven. I don’t care about the front windshield either, so minus those 2 things, someone find me one! Oh, I also like the power jack, but could live with the manual one. C’mon you guys, find me one! (I’ll even take one with the oven if I have to, LOL) :-)
Just call our team and we'll get one cooking for you exactly as you'd like. 800-256-5196
If there was some hidden supply of these things laying around, then we'd have already accessed it!
Could a colorado ZR2 v6 tow this?
I can't see any reasons where it would have issues. I would ask you to have our team at 800-256-5196 crack open the tow guides to double check please. Better to check twice and be sure!
Josh, clicked the link and i see that this unit has already been sold! What type of numbers were you asking for this unit? The wife and I are shopping for a trailer and this type of unit with it's options seem to check off a lot of boxes for us.
Not sold. You looked at a different 19FD. We have multiple in stock. One just happened to have sold recently. Check the link again ;)
Thanks! "Duh" moment on my part. Should have scrolled down some more. Thanks again. Take care!
@@quitsskydiver519 lol -- you mean like this morning when I tried to put the milk in the cupboard and cereal box in the fridge? #oneofus
Hey Josh - do you have any opinion on driving one of these with a full tank of fresh water (37 gallons)?
I generally advise against towing anything with full tanks. Keep some "service water" on hand if you need. OFTEN you're never more than 10 mins from fresh water, but I know in some of the more remote areas that's not always the case.
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks! That's what I thought too. I called Forest River, and they also strongly advised against driving with a full tank of fresh water in the tank. They suggested bringing some portable water inside the trailer, evenly dispersed, if necessary and maybe a few gallons in the fresh water tank in case of needs between stops. Thanks as always! You're a real asset!
Why a 13 thousand five hundred BTU , when a 6000 will cool it and you can use a smaller generator
Is the murphy bed a true 60" wide or is it the 54"? I see the fixed (FBS) is 60"
I have the same question on the 2106DS Micro minnie.
Thanks!
When it's north/south the bed gets a little thinner (54") so you can get around it. Else, in a narrow body camper, you'd always have to crawl on it.
Interior height? Does anyone make a 7' interior height?
This is not an extra tall camper. Very few producers of small campers build tall campers. They are usually targeting a specific size/weight mark.
There are a handful of brands that build with 6'9" Interiors and precious few with a 7ft interior such as Jayco's Eagle HT series.
Do people ever get their leg stuck getting in and out of Murphy Bed..lol
The gap looks a little wide.
I’ve never heard that from a client. I suppose it’s possible?
Still like the front bed slide model.
Can't blame you. What's not to like?
@@JoshtheRVNerd love your vids keep up the good work.
Oh this is a Murphy bed :) nice
I generally like this model . I'd rather loose the Murphy bed and have more of a walk around north , south queen .
#Activfi...They come up with #NEW #technical #terms so #quickly!!! #LOL!!! #LOVE this #FrontWindshield!!! #travel #Rockwood #HaylettRV
Anyone still uses DVDs?
A few now and then. I think some folks camp WAY off grid where varoius signals and streaming services become unreliable.
Good for kiddos too. Bad for their parents though.
New word alert 🚨 (ACTIVFY) 😁
I'll add it to my definictionary.
Nerdism #37, activfi……..hmmm I think it works
