We have had a 2023 Rockwood Geo Pro 19BH. There is just 2 of us so we use the 2 bunks for storage and there is a full length storage under the bottom bunk. Never enough storage for camping. Solar panel on the roof plus we use a portable unit also and both keep everything running. Just finished out first half of a 30 day trip and have only used the generator for about 2 hours total. Dry weight is about 3,200 pounds and we pull it with our 2022 4Runner no problem.
@@pearlrival3124 correct. If your capacity is 3500, you should look at campers with unloaded weights below 3000 lbs. 2000 to 2500 lbs ideally. You need to account for cargo, and it is always best to leave at least some gap between your max and what the camper weighs.
I have a Murphy bed in my mini lite, love it. I tried to sleep on the couch , not very comfortable as a bed. This is a nice tralier for a single person
I am the proud owner of a 2022 Rockwood Geo Pro 19fs which I ordered. I am just as happy with her now as I was the day I took possession from the dealer. Her name is ShortStack and she is perfect for me and my 2 schnauzers.I went through a small, family owned dealership 30 minutes from my home and could not be more satisfied with the service I have received.
In each video I try to focus on as many things as I can, but I also try to focus on different things from video to video in case someone has watched older ones. In some of my earlier videos I focus on the Murphy bed setup like in the one I did for a 2023 19FD Geo about a year ago. At the 6:45 minute mark. Thanks for watching!
This is a great layout! One of the better ones I've seen. Love no oven or dining area. Sofa works to sit on while eating. I'm not sure, but I thought I saw they were starting to make microwave/air fryer combos. I would love one of those in at the microwave spot. Love the pantry too! That's a huge amount of storage. Love the extra counter space under the tv. Just a thought. If traveling with a cat, I would sacrifice the two drawers under that counter. Leave it hollowed out for a litterbox or Litter robot. But that's just something I would want. I like the price too. More affordable than most I've seen.
@@dustistreet5108 - Good for you! I’m 5’ 11” or used to be before back problems, I’ve slept on a few RV couches, some were 100% functional, others not so much, LOL!
Really solid platform! something I would personally love is to be able to replace that couch with a small table;/desk on left wall (facing the bed) and a small couch chair on the right, with room between for a desk chair. That way I as a single professional could do work on the desk, and then sit back and relax in the couch chair and watch movies from my PC screen. then I could convert the current TV mount into a small cabinet for more storage.
The slam latches are such a big improvement over the standard locks. Way easier to open and close. I usually mention them in the Geo Walkthroughs but forgot to this time. Thanks for watching.
I still prefer the smaller twin bed version. This Murphy is too small for us. However, the larger bathroom is a winner. So is all the storage. I don’t like slides. Something extra to go wrong and it will. Nice unit overall.
It's very nice however I don't like the idea of having mechanical slide outs due to the facts that it can have problems in the future, costly repairs etc and so on. So slide outs is a definitely a big no, no for me. It is enough to have to deal with plumbing, rot, leak, etc and so on, yeah those things will happen in the future. Other than that, great video! Have a bless day!
@@Kgcottawa Murphy beds tend to be thin and light weight in order for them to be squished up against the wall. They give no support when sleeping on them. In addition, if you want to change your mattress for a much better one, being it's a murphy, you will be very limited to a nice upgrade. They also take up space under the carriage when closed or upright. this is where you store stuff and as is, space is limited already. Long story short, they are very uncomfortable. Also, some of the mattress are cut in half and when sleeping on them, you feel the split. Hope this helps
We have a 19FD with Murphy bed. It's just a fold down platform with a mattress. We replaced the OE 5" thick foam mattress with an 8" memory foam. It's better than the bed at home now.
I proudly own 2022 Geo Pro 19fbs that I ordered in 2021. There was a 9 month wait for delivery which was worth every minute. This trailer is perfect for me and I only had one issue which was handled by my local, family owned dealer in 2 weeks. I did not have to leave my trailer with the dealer and just has a 2 hours wait while the matter was fixed (12v fridge replacement). Never missed a camping trip. Would I do it all over again? I most certainly would. Forest River/Rockwood customer service has been there to answer any questions I have had and should I ever decide to upgrade to a class c it will be a Forest River product.
The number 15 is the box length, excluding the hitch. A lot of mfg's use this nomenclature so the consumers are not misled about actual living space in the trailer.
That’s not entirely true, at least with Rockwood. They use 15 for this 15FBS and for the 15TB, but one has an overall length of 17’5” and the other 15’ 8”. Since the length of the tongue is the same for both, it’s the case that the 15FBS is approximately 15’ box length and the 15TB is approximately 13.5’. This applies to many model numbers across the various Rockwood lines. Model number gives an approximate size of the camper, but not always an accurate box length.

Too bad people couldn’t see the swivel table in action in this video. The table really is impractical for two people to sit side-by-side and eat together at. The way the table swivels doesn’t leave much belly room for people to sit comfortably either- nor is the length of the table long enough for two people to have a meal together side by side. For some people, this will be a deal breaker. Hopefully Rockwood addresses this in the 2025 model.
In previous 2024 videos I’ve shown and talked about the swivel tables, but I chose to show this one without. A number of people have expressed their dislike of those tables and I have to agree with them. I also hope Rockwood makes a change in the 2025 models.
Microwave oven is in an awkward place especially if your older and have limited eyesight, or do wish to bend over to operate the oven. Everything else is very nice for a small trailer.
Good design but not enough space for me. 20 ft minimum is practical, and the slideout with the all the kitchen appliances makes it driver side heavy and you need to pack it according for weight and balance.
At the 12 second mark I have a message about price being found in a link in the video description. This is how I’ve done it in most videos. Prices can vary significantly depending on a) where in the country it is b) what fees the dealer is choosing to disclose and c) what options come with the RV.
Have you seen the 15TB Geo? I miss the 2204S Rockwood Mini with the twin beds. That was always a hit at our dealership and I hope they bring it back someday.
I hate the industry seems to be going to 12v only fridge instead of a dual or tri power. They're not convenient for forest boondocking, almost preventing it entirely.
I wish they could combine the benefits of these 12v fridges (fast cooldown, use while driving) with the benefits of having a gas backup option. On the other Rockwood lines (mini, ultra, signature) they still offer the gas/electric option. Geos are exclusively 12v.

For me, being single, I would take the Murphy bed out and build storage behind the sofa. I would sleep on sofa bed.
