A Perfect Circle delivers powerful psycho logical landscapes to flesh out the true understanding of the lessons we are given to test ourselves.
Automatic LIKE, one of the greatest rock albums of our time, plain and simple! Beautifully composed all the way around!
Everything i heard so far of this album is great! Definitely will continue exploring.
We like your shenanigans, that's why we watch!
Appreciate that 😀❤️
Yeah, the album is so consistent
I have not touched a drop in 23 years, 19 of those years in A.A. I was really, really involved in it for 17 of those years. It will work for some. I became really jaded dealing with the cult like mentalilty of many members in my area. When they talk about making amends to the dead, i was instructed to write letter to said deceased. It felt very hollow. Alot of the stuff i was instructed to do felt like that. I no longer am a member, I still don't drink. However i am happier now, than when i was involved.
Congratulations on achieving longterm sobriety. That is inspiring! And thanks for sharing your experience.
Yay!!! APC!!! So glad to see you get back to these guys! Also a concept near and dear to my heart! Helped me through those times, just saying.
Its so well thought out from different perspectives. Great writing. Thanks for watching and take care, my friend.
Oh yeah, been went for some more good alternative Rock!
Josh Freese's drumming on this album is just masterful. Absolute legend!
💯. Just recorded a reaction to Blue from this album. Hope to get that video up in the coming days.
Wow, I like your interpretation of this track. It's one of those songs that gets better and better every time you listen to it. And at some point you get addicted to it...
Thanks so much for watching! Its a great song and i can definitely imagine picking up more insights from this as i listen to it over and over.
This is one of my favorite APC tracks.. this and "3 Libras". But truth be told, I can't think of a single song they have that's bad. Enjoy the discovery 🤘
Great song. Definitely exploring more.
I did not know this was a concept LP! Now I don’t know if I wanna wait until you randomly go through them or I straighten these out myself😆
The first time I heard, To the dead, I was thinking of the recovering addict’s being stuck. Unable to move forward. So many angles to take it. Continued health to you!
Awesome concept! And love the different angles and interpretation just based on the perspective. Wether its from the addict's point of view or the person living with them. Incredible writing.
*explains perfectly how maynard slithers through the instrumental* 2 seconds later.....I don't know how to explain it hahaha awesome
🤣
Tough subject. A little too real sometimes. I like that you acknowledge the other side of the situation, and can understand their perspective, not everyone are able to do so. Love the imagery in this track, the halo and the noose, being the same object. Simple and powerful. I wish we could get more releases from A perfect circle.
Very tough subject, but very important to shine light on all sides of it and to be able to communicate about it. Beautiful song. Thanks for watching.
Why does that album look like a scifi ps1 game cover?
Haha, yes!
Wings 1 and 2 soon? Lol
I sat down to do it, but my mind wasnt in the right place
Also Jimmy from Aenima and Judith fro A perfect circle all about him dealing with his feelings for his mom and what happened
But I get it…. Sometimes you need time ( like suicide from
Ren)
@@SaeedReacts.thanks for the effort dude! Honestly
This song rings true for me during my sobriety. It does annoy me when the stereotypical AA guys come around preaching as if they are better than the rest of us. Suddenly they keep talking about religion this god that and that becomes their new addiction. It's fine up to the point they start judging others that found their sobriety through other means. I'm not religious at all so I just don't like this attitude that their way is the only way. I just checked my app and I haven't had a drink in 840d 9h 5m days. I'm doing pretty well now thankfully. It's a shame that it took me falling into a seizure during detox while trying to sober up to make that happen. Going through detox because I had enough almost killed me. Well it literally did since I had to be put on life support after a few failed attempts at CPR. I ended up in a month long coma. The doctors and nurses saved my life, my stubbornness in wanting to stay alive did as well. But it had nothing to do with what these holier than thou folks who this song references believe.
I definitely feel the same way as you described. Congratulations on your sobriety. Keep up the good work. Also had to hit multiple bottoms, withdrawals, DT's and hospital trips before it finally clicked. Finally had enough. Glad you are still here ❤️
@@SaeedReacts. Likewise dude.
I'm not sure, but this might be a shout out to George Bush, A recovering alcoholic who found God and also declared war.
