Cody Schrader’s receiving ability is better than you are giving him credit for. He had one game where he rushed for over 200 yards and had over 100 yards receiving. You can rely on him to improve on anything they want him to.
He had a lot of dropped passes that weren’t placed right on him. I stand by what I said. I didn’t say he can’t catch at all. I said he can’t catch well if the ball isn’t put right on him. And it’s true.
Being a Mizzou Fan I watched Cody run all over SEC opponents and get 128 yards against Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl. I think he is a great pickup for the 49ers. He is an extremely hard worker and is a 1st to practice and last-to-leave kind of guy. He has great vision and first cut that finds the open hole. Best wishes for him in the NFL.
Niners got a bunch of players that were captains on their respective teams; Cody being one of those guys. Seems like he will be great for the locker room.
