- It's time to kick it into high gear with the BMW F10 M5 build. Power is my main focus but before we start cranking up the boost, a few supporting mods need to be installed first. The upgrade my M5 get's in this video is crucial for several reasons. It allows the car to run at maximum power more consistently, it replaces one of the most unreliable components on the F10 M5 and it looks awesome when you pop open the hood! This upgrade is also recommended for those that own F80/F82 M3 and M4.

Oh man thanks for that I'm literally getting mine installed today on my M6 this is the only video explaining in detail how it is done. Had I saw this yesterday I could have done it myself good stuff. Look into project gamma for intakes and charge pipes and coolant lines down pipes

I have a tuned 2015 m5 with 102,000 miles. Needed some suspension work but with stage 2 700 hp it’s still a ripper...love it. Purchases off the showroom floor in 2015

Sold my F10 M5 @85k miles with only 1 issue ever. Went into limp mode over a bad cylinder 1 misfire.... Replaced plug, no issues. Great great vehicle

@@coletickle I’m thinking about going for one as well it’s going for 30k w 80k miles, engine looks clean, left the car on a few min gave it a little rev no leaks. No lights on the dash, plus has 25 service records. What do you think
@@Cocoblimblim Have the rod bearings been replaced? Check the carfax as well. I recently got the rod bearings replaced, costed about 7k, but I absolutely love the car and haven’t had any issues yet. (knock on wood)

As a former e60 550i owner I could say that BMW V8 engines run extremely hot I kid you not after driving a few minutes you could legit fry an egg on the engine 😭😹 but of course didn’t learn my lesson have an e36 but saving up for the e92 M3 👌🏾

Hell yeah man. Another upgrade to consider is the 90C thermostat from ECS tuning if you're looking at simple cooling mods. Its on the zombie plan list for mine.

Checked out your site. Dude....please hook a brotha up with some 535d upgrades. I have mine flashed to about 360hp, 615tq. But no one makes crap that I've been able to find so far, so I feel topped out. To my understanding, the parts are not interchangeable between the 535i, and the 535d. Can you say untouched area? ....opportunity man!

Yo, vehicle virals I have a good mod for you m5. Get project gamma intakes they are quite expensive but their worth it. Installed many on m5’s and other m models .Their the best in the market and I would like you to install them

I have to be honest, the factory intake coolers were my favorite part of the engine bay when opening the hood of my M550i or any M5 bay. Just something about them sitting at the front of the engine that made the engine look special. I don’t have them anymore or at least they don’t look the same on my X5M. Nice upgrade though.
